Please find below the CSD2024 Conference Programme. This year's conference is structured in five sections – four in videoconference format (online), one onsite section, as well as a workshop. This promises a rich exchange of ideas between the participants: the programme includes a number of over 170 papers to be presented by PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in 28 parallel sessions.

The 7th International Conference of the Doctoral School - "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi (TUIASI), Romania

The Doctoral School of TUIASI organizes this year the 7th edition of the International Conference for PhD students, CSD2024.
The Conference is free of charge and is dedicated to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.
For three days, there will be panel sessions where PhD students can talk about and discuss their research papers. The schedule also includes plenary conferences held by prominent professors from universities closely associated with TUIASI through collaborations.
This event aims to bring together different presentations covering important issues in the TUIASI thirteen doctoral fields, such as Chemistry, Computers and Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technologies, Energetic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Engineering and Management.
By connecting these scientific fields, encouraging innovation through teamwork, and focusing on international collaboration, the conference acts as a meeting point for new ideas and advancements in science. This approach ensures that doctoral programs provide PhD students with the right skills and knowledge for jobs in social institutions, contributing to a sustainable economy.

Începând de astăzi, miercuri, 17 mai, timp de 3 zile, TUIASI va găzdui a şasea ediţie a Conferinţei Şcolii Doctorale – CSD 2023. Ediţia din acest an va fi organizată în format hibrid, având o secţiune onsite, interdisciplinară, în data de 17 mai şi 4 secţiuni online programate în zilele de 18 şi 19 mai.

Programul evenimentului este destul de încărcat, în fiecare zi debutând la ora 9.30 cu două lucrări în plen, urmând a se continua cu lucrările pe secţiuni, lucrări ce au fost repartizate în 5 secţiuni, una care se va desfăşura onsite în ziua de 17 mai între orele 12 – 19.30 şi 4 secţiuni ce se vor desfăşura joi, online, în paralel, până la ora 19.00 şi vineri, online, în paralel până la ora 15.30.

Eşti student doctorand în anul I?

Participă la Conferința Internațională a Școlii Doctorale a Universității Tehnice ”Gheorghe Asachi” din Iași, CSD 2023, pentru a-ţi prezenta ideea de cercetare, pentru a discuta cu colegii, pentru a face prima ta prezentare în powerpoint, în limba engleză, la o conferinţă dedicată studenţilor doctoranzi.
Este singura conferinţa fără taxe de publicare / participare, fiind sponsoriozată de TUIASI şi SD-TUIASI.
Cum participi?
1. Gândeşte-te la un titlu al lucrării științifice şi la un scurt rezumat al acesteia, de maximum o pagină.
2. Discută cu conducătorul de doctorat ideea ta și apoi pune-o în practică.
3. Scrie titlul şi rezumatul folosind template-ul disponibil pe site-ul conferinţei la adresa: https://conferinta-csd.tuiasi.ro/registration-and-fees/
4. Trimite fişierul către responsabilul secţiunii la care se încadrează tema abordată de tine. Verifică în ce secţiune te încadrezi, la adresa: https://conferinta-csd.tuiasi.ro/organizers-sections/
5. Pe baza rezumatului întocmeşte o prezentare powerpoint de 8-10 slide-uri în limba engleză, care să cuprindă informaţii relevante despre ceea ce studiezi și experimentezi în laborator.
6. Urmăreşte site-ul https://conferinta-csd.tuiasi.ro/ pentru anunţuri!
6. În timpul conferinţei, ai posibilitatea să asculţi şi prezentările celorlaţi colegi şi, de asemenea, să-ţi învingi emoţiile inerete oricărui început, să faci și tu o primă comunicare științifică în calitate de student doctorand, într-un cadru prietenos.
7. După conferinţă, dacă ceea ce ai prezentat în fața audienței poate fi extins într-o lucrare științifică, așează-te la birou, elaborează textul lucrării, pe care o poţi trimite apoi către Buletinul Institutului Politehnic din Iași, prin intermediul secretariatului conferinței. 8. Dacă nu vrei să trimiţi lucrare către Buletin, sau nu ai îndeajuns de multă informaţie pentru a construi o lucrare, în mod sigur ai avut o experienţă plăcută şi ai învăţat ceva din această primă participare la o manifestare științifică de profil.
9. Pentru tine, CSD 2023 are în acest an și o secţiune onsite, pentru a-ţi oferi posibilitatea să te întâlneşti şi să discuţi, la o cafea, cu colegii tăi şi cu cei care au mai multă experienţă în cercetarea științifică.

At its sixth edition, the International Conference of the Doctoral School at the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi (TUIASI) aims to provide PhD students of the Doctoral Schools from Technical Universities in Romania and abroad with a favorable framework for communicating the results of their research, exchanging ideas and initiating new collaborations, refine their theoretical and methodological approaches, encouraging presentation and continuous development of interdisciplinary research.
The three days’ conference (17th-19th of May, 2023) consist of five panel sessions, where PhD students can present and discuss their research papers. The program of the conference will also include a number of plenary presentations held by prestigious professors from universities with which TUIASI has close collaborations.
As a novelty, the conference will be in a hybrid manner with an interdisciplinary session onsite.
