ELISHA LEADERSHIP JOURNEY 2025 -Enrolment is open!

CLC's ELISHA Leadership Journey is a timely initiative to help form and equip such leaders to serve with the right heart and mind to build the kingdom of God.

Since ELISHA was piloted in 2022, more than 100 Catholic leaders have completed this foundational journey and have been greatly enriched by the experience. Our 2025 run is open for enrolment now! Today marked the end of the 6-month ELISHA Leadership Journey for 52 emerging leaders from 10 parishes and 4 Archdiocesan Organisations. As they return to their respective mission fields, we pray that they will continue to walk closely with God and that He will use them powerfully in the service of building His kingdom! Congratulations to the class of 2024!

As leaders, we are constantly making decisions and we need a discerning heart to help us listen to God and to ourselves, and learn to make choices out of an interior freedom and desire to do God's will.

This new course offered by CLC helps participants to be more attentive and aware of what is happening within us such as thoughts, feelings, sensations, reactions. Participants will learn how to recognise the movements of consolation and desolation and through their daily conversations with God develop a greater intimacy with God.

HEART-TO-HEART CONVERSATIONS (H2H)
Do you desire to be a better leader or a better companion in journeying with others? Start with being a better listener.

This Listening Recollection provides participants a sacred time and safe space to reflect silently and listen to God in His Word. Thereafter they are invited to listen to one another without judgment and receive the gift of being listened to with undivided attention, within small groups.

'KEEP THE SABBATH HOLY' RETREAT - PREVENTING LEADERS' BURNOUT (12 - 14 Jan 2024)
A stay-in retreat to discover the Sabbath as a sustaining spiritual practice for busy leaders. Based on St Benedict’s rule of life to balance and integrate one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life.

Last Saturday, our 2023 batch of the ELISHA Leadership Journey celebrated the milestone of completing the fundamental phase of their formation. They have journeyed together over the last 6 months, experiencing the love and healing of Jesus Christ, gaining clarity and confidence of their identity and mission in Christ, and drawing inspiration and hope from fellow leaders in different parishes and archdiocesan organizations.

We keep them in prayer as they seek to apply what they have learnt in the whole of their lives - family, church, workplace and society - and to continue to be led by Christ in their ongoing formation as disciples and leaders after His heart.
