Last weekend, our KABA students participated in POWERFUL NIGHT 2023, our second annual qiyam organized by youth mentors from Pemuda and Beliawanis from Muhammadiyah.
The intended purpose for this programme was to bring a positive Ibadah Ramadan experience to the students, where they joined in the congregation for Solat Terawih and Qiyamullail (night prayer) at Pusat Muhammadiyah.
Earlier in the afternoon, the students took on physical and mental challenges in our very own Escape Room and Amazing Race
We are happy to see active participation by our students throughout the event. Let’s make the best out of our last 10 nights of Ramadan in seeking Lailatul Qadr and most importantly, the pleasure of Allah SWT.

Last Saturday our Under-16 team competed in the Charity Futsal Tournament 2023. Win or lose, these boys showed true sportsmanship and heart, giving their all and leaving everything on the field. Well done KABA FC, we are proud of you!

Alhamdulillah, last Saturday we held our orientation session to welcome new and current students in KABA. Students and parents also had a tour of their classrooms followed by an assessment on their recitation of Iqra and Qur'an. We wish the best to our students as they begin their first lessons for 2023 this weekend.

Kelas Asas Bimbingan Agama (KABA) adalah madrasah hujung minggu untuk kanak-kanak menyelesaikan pendidikan asas Islam mereka. Mata pelajaran yang kami ajar merangkumi Sejarah Islam, Akhlak, Tauhid, Fiqh, Hadis dan Al- Qur’an. Selain belajar di kelas, KABA juga merangkumi aktiviti pengayaan yang diadakan semasa cuti sekolah seperti kem Islam, lawatan, Qiyamullail dan seni Islam (tertakluk kepada Langkah Pengurusan Selamat).
Kelas dijalankan dalam bahasa Inggeris dan bahasa Melayu.

Last weekend, 18 September 2022, we held our first ever Sports Day event for the KABA students, organized by youth mentors from Pemuda and Beliawanis from Muhammadiyah.
Besides youth members, the event was also joined by Muhammadiyah’s General Secretary, Mdm Roszanah Abdul Salim, KABA principal and asatizahs.
A Futsal tournament was held between the boys meanwhile the girls played Captain’s Ball and Netball.
We feel delighted to watch our students spend their weekend together with their friends and classmates. We are also thankful to the parents who came to support their children during the game (and even played an exhibition match).

The memorisation of short surahs (Juz ‘Amma) is one of KABA’s ongoing practice in improving students reading of Iqra’ and Qur’an.

KABA FUTSAL 2022
Yesterday, our KABA boys joined Muhammadiyah's staff for a mini Futsal Tournament as part of our school holiday activity.

We hope everyone enjoyed the game and most importantly to get to know each other better. Have a good rest!
