Pizza Hut is becoming more and more ridiculous. We ordered 2x REGULAR size pizza which supposedly served 9” (6 slices) as mentioned on their website. But we only received 6” (6 slices) pizza. We try to get assistance from their customer service but they insisted that it’s the correct order. The customer service insisted it is a regular pizza because they sliced it to 6 pieces. So are you telling me pizza hut have been serving the personal pan size pizza for the price of a regular size pizza? So as long as you give me 6 slices it’s considered regular size? And whats with the oversized crust pizza??? New product from pizza hut? Extra crust supreme??? This is utterly ridiculous and disappointing.

I purposely went to this outlet to have my breakfast. Was in chinatown this morning. Having this yong tau foo by the name of bai nan. Almost finishing the meal, i saw a strand of hair in the bowl. Oh gosh.. damn disgusting. I went up n approached the staff, wanting to tell her to be more careful. Guess what, the staff gave me an attitude and the 1st word from her mouth is "你要我怎么样" without an apology. Damn horrible attitude.

Anyone from KFC missing a HALF INCH SCREW??

My husband was gonna feed me a spoonful of the porridge which he ordered via foodpanda. Usually my attention would be on the tv and not paying attention to the food.

Somehow today my eyes were on the food and I saw the sharp end of the screw. SCREW YOU, KFC AND YOUR SCREW!

Contaminated food is the way to go now is it? So next time when I order I can get a spanner, screwdriver, hammer SO I CAN HAVE A COMPLETE TOOLBOX??

It is so dangerous especially with the condition that I am in now. Or is it KFC wants to give me extra Iron supplements?

SO DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED. IF I GET FOOD POISONING FROM EATING 3/4 OF THIS CONTAMINATED FOOD OR SOMETHING EVEN WORSE WHICH I DON'T WANT TO EVEN IMAGINE, KFC MUST TAKE THE FULL RESPONSIBILITY!

At this moment I feel angry and felt I have being taken advantage of.

Ok guys, please help to share around in your social media feed to create awareness of Ohana by Adam's Corner so called unethical business campaign.
For some people, they may have experience a recent door to door sale from the Ohana by Adam's Corner selling a $30 coupon voucher. As usual, most of the business campaign will be using the "support local business" strategy and I can understand that, it's really a tough time for the local businesses.

For me the content of the coupon voucher are not too bad (as shown in the photos), discounted price food combo, 1 free smoothie for 1 day advance order, welcome food bonus and same day free delivery. For people like me who is working from home, this is a great win-win deal, I can do my part to support the local business and at the same time enjoy food with free delivery. Of course there are some terms and conditions stated in the voucher itself. It is only valid from Monday to Friday (including PH), so have to send in the food order by 10am to be delivered for lunch and send in by 3pm to be delivered for dinner.

So this is the main issue.

I went to make an order for dinner, and I follow their procedure to order the food through WhatsApp before cut off timing which was 3pm. And I got back with an auto respond message from Ohana saying the dinner delivery slot is closed.
Alright wait a second, I thought they stated same day free delivery as long I ordered by 3pm, it was written black and white on their coupon (as also shown in the photos). And now they closed their order way before the stated cut off timing.
So I went to question them, and apparently they have set a limit order, and they told me to avoid disappointment, I have to order 2 to 3 days in advance. So the biggest question is where is the same day free delivery they have claimed in the coupon? I went to their FB page and see if anybody has experience the same situation as me. And to my surprise, there are quite a numbers of comment about not being able to order for the same day delivery before the stated cut off timing.

This is when I AM SO PI**ED OFF by their marketing strategy. I mean if they cannot delivered the promise then stop selling the coupon. I believed they are still going door to door selling those coupons, and trying to get your empathy by using “support the local business” in this Covid-19 situation. If they are really so busy coping with the massive orders, this means their business is doing well and good. People spent $30 for that same day delivery promise stated in the coupon, I felt my empathy was being taken advantage of when Ohana by Adam's Corner told me they set a limit order and have to order 2 to 3 days in advance.

So here I am asking your help to share this post to create this awareness of Ohana by Adam's Corner door to door sale. $30 may seems a small amount to you but for some people out there including me, is a big deal, I do not earn much in Singapore. And I do not wish to see another people to experience the same situation as me after getting the Ohana’s coupon. Anyway I will take this $30 as a lesson learnt for having empathy towards local businesses.

Ohana by Adam's Corner come, clockwise from top left corner

This is the worst food I have ever had in my 25 years of life!!!

Naan was hard and tasteless, almost uncooked
Tom yum soup was not spicy and not sour, tasteless with cold chicken inside
Kangkong no taste
Cereal prawn more like serial killer, prawn shells almost impossible to peel and flesh was rock hard
Tandoori chicken was the only saving grace, not bad but still not impressive
Stingray is the worst of the pack. I'm sure it was cooked 3 days ago. The meat was tough and it was near smelly already
Fish was ok. It's tasteless but at least it's properly cooked.

The most edible item (not in photo) was the plain rice

Please wake up your idea and stop serving food to the public

P.S. I pre-ordered few days ago for today's dinner, shouldn't that have had gave you all more time to prepare? Why give us overnight seafood?

UPDATE
They replied me on whatsapp regarding the almost spoiled stingray and they really think people are all idiots??
Do you think I can't tell between mere fishy smell vs SPOILED FOOD???

For people who have been approached to buy any coupons from , or order their tingkat, I strongly urge you to reconsider.

Context of the story:

A few weeks back, a person came to our unit and tried to sell us the coupons from Ohana By Adam's Corner, and pitched that we should support our local businesses. So my auntie purchased them.

On 25 Aug 2020, we decided to redeem the coupons for our lunch. We assumed that it's going to be how you order food through Grab and FoodPanda right ? So we placed our order at 11.17 hoping that it can be delivered by 12.30pm.

We noticed that something is wrong when we have not received any acknowledgement note from them 12.30pm is approaching, so we called them instead. The staff on the other end informed us that the cutoff time for lunch order is by 10 am, and asked us if we would like to make any order for dinner instead. As we already have plans for dinner so we turned it down. At this point the service attitude is really questionable now if you see the messages they replied. (Never mind still not angry)

Since I started WFH , we decided to redeem the coupons again. Well lesson learnt from last time right ? We texted them at 1 am (before 10 am already). Ok we know people are not in office at that time already, so we texted them to get back to us once they got our message. ( You might be wondering why text at 1am, because we wake up late ma, by the time we wake up how to text them by 10 am lol)

Again at 10 am we still have not received any acknowledgement, so we call them again , and the staff told us to wait for the confirmation. Then we got a reply from them finally at 11:51am, gonna be 12pm soon, telling us order is not confirmed and told us they don't respond to texts at 1am. (Of course we know right ? if not why we tell you to respond ASAP)

And there is nowhere in the coupon leaflet that says when we should order our lunch one day in advance !

After further questioning, the restaurant send us a template reply that the orders should be send in 2-3 days in advance. By now you should have seen the contradiction :

-First Ohana told us the order cut off is at 10 am , now based on the template reply it's 1 day in advance for lunch order ?

-When we attempted to order the first time on 25 Aug, why didn't you send us this template reply right from the start ?

As someone who have worked in the service and hospitality industry I understand that sometimes things can get really busy and service can be compromised, I get that. But what I fail to comprehend is that when you have things like order 1 day or 3 days in advance why didn't you communicate that with us ? And looking at the standard of service that was delivered from these texts, there was no attempt for service recovery. I did not even demand for that, we just want our basic service, the lunch, to be confirmed and ordered.

After all these, I really have enough evidence for me to suspect that this is a scam man. Each salesperson can comb the whole neighborhood and if things go well, you can earn quite a lot at $30 per coupon leaflet like that.

If you have had experience like this with Ohana, please let me know. After this incident I went to Google their reviews and it was bad man. I know I am not the only one who have experienced this non-delivery.

Some time last week, Vera bought a coupon booklet for Ohana by Adam's Corner from a lady who was going door-to-door.

She told us that their restaurant opened a week before the Circuit Breaker period and that they weren't doing very well, and decided to launch a home delivery service to keep themselves afloat.

We love local businesses and do our best to support them, so we paid S$30 for this.

However, we've since tried to order multiple times without success thanks to an extremely convoluted ordering system with two different numbers to message listed on the booklet, but one directing us to another anyway and a 10am lunch order cut-off time that ends before their WhatsApp operation time begins at 11am.

We've tried calling to check on our orders only to have the person manning the phone hang up on us after saying she was going to check them.

We've tried dropping them messages earlier but they apparently don't respond to or acknowledge orders before manning their phone, and every message outside that time period is invalid.. or something.

So far we've not gotten any other confirmation or acknowledgement on practically anything save for template replies.

I've been informed that there have been others experiencing the same thing, and the amount of angry reacts on their Facebook post justifying their poor service probably attests to this as well. Links below.

A S$30 coupon booklet isn't cheap, and our interactions with this restaurant leave us with nothing but a bad taste in our mouths.

Those who have been affected, drop me a message and I'll see how we can lodge a report with the relevant authorities.

UPDATE: They deleted the comments that Vera and I made on their latest post. 🙄

UPDATE: All comments are gone
