We thank God for a successful run of “Bible Study Tools” where our class of youths were equipped with the tools and knowledge to unpack and understand bible passages, and also gained plenty of insight as they studied God’s Word together 🧠

Last month, Kaelyn, Alethea and Caitlin graduated from FYP’24 🥳We are extremely proud of them as we watched them serve in various areas during the graduation service. All glory to God for how much they have grown in the past 3 months! 🙌

Time flies! Another day, another year. From BOYM sports day to beach cleanup to church camps, we want you to remember and treasure the best moments of 2023.

Merry Christmas! We thank God for Stephanie, Daniel and John for their baptism & confirmation yesterday. We warmly welcome them into the body of Christ, and we continue to pray and walk with them as they live out their lives for the mission of God.

Today marks the last week of Advent, focusing on Love. With the last candle being lit, we remember the encompassing love of God. This God is very clear in the Christmas story, where Christ emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and being born in the likeness of men, for our sake. As we look forward to the coming of Christ, let us continue to embody God's love, and may this love be magnified by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Grateful for the wonderful turnout at our 'Light will Guide You Home' Christmas Evangelistic event☃️! We are delighted by the 14 new friends and 6 youths who responded to receive Christ or recommit their lives to Him!😁

Special thanks to Kyle, whose testimony and heartfelt message about Christmas and the hope we have in Christ that touched the hearts of many.

Heartfelt appreciation to the adult helpers, who served as worship team members, gamemasters, photographers, and helped prepare the Christmas feast.

Kudos to the youth group leaders for guiding our youths throughout the event. Immense gratitude to the dedicated committee that meticulously planned this event.

Finally, our profound thanks goes to our Heavenly Father for His continuous guidance from planning to execution!🥰 Wishing everyone a joyous Christmas and happy holidays!🥳🎄

Today marks the 3rd week of Advent, focusing on Joy. With so many stressors in life, joy can seem absent. As we grow up, the burdens of life placed on us wear us down and we gradually forget what it means to be joyful. Let us remember that joy is all around us, that being joyful is a choice we make. May God remind us of the happiness Joy brings, and to shield it from any interference. Let joy overflow from our lives and share it with those around us.

Last Saturday, the Compass Kids Ministry organised a Christmas party for the children and we would like to give thanks to the Lord for allowing us an opportunity to serve at this event! We are grateful that many youths were able to take up this opportunity to build relationships with the kids in our community. May we continue to have a heart of compassion for others and a desire to serve!

Today marks the 2nd week of Advent, focusing on Peace. With nations waging wars against nations, and where the powerful oppress the vulnerable, finding peace seems hard. But we believe God is still here. His justice will roll down like waters, and His righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. May our hearts cling onto God, and be stirred to act out his mercy, bringing about peace.

Today marks the first week of Advent, focusing on Hope. In the Bible, the Gospel of John speaks of Christ as the true light coming into the world. With the coming of Christ, he represents hope for our broken and troubled world, as well as our own wounded hearts. As we hope in Christ, let us have the courage to express our longing for peace, for healing, and for the well-being of all creation.

Today we celebrate Senior Citizen Sunday! We have been blessed by the seniors in our church, who have freely gave us their time, effort, wisdom, and sometimes, delicious food! We are also thankful for our OAKS and Evergreen Ministries for reaching out to not just the seniors in church, but those in the community as well.

Let us find ways to, in a meaningful and sincere way, spend time with and bless the seniors around us, while helping them live out fulfilling lives.

As the leaders in the various ministries of our church embark on a period of planning for the next year, let us - as part of sincere worship of our Heavenly Father - commit our leaders in prayer over the next two to three weeks. Let us be steadfast in our prayers as we intercede for our leaders.

"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him."

3rd November was our Cell Out Day, where we welcomed our little brothers and sisters from Compass Kids Ministry and invited them to join us for some food and fun!

We thank God for keeping everyone safe, and for this fruitful time of fellowship with our younger brothers and sisters in Christ.
