Pentecost, a unique feast in the Jewish calendar, occurs 7 weeks after Passover to celebrate the wheat harvest. But this Pentecost was different. It marked the day that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Nations! The event in Acts 2 describes the power in which the Holy Spirit came upon men in Jerusalem, blowing everyone's minds by the wonders they saw and heard. It was truly a day of harvest as scripture records 3,000 people of different nations present came to faith.

This day is not just significant because of this miraculous occurrence but because we know that this was just a foretaste of the day when the great multitude of ALL Nations, tongues and tribes will be gathered before the throne, worshipping together!

The death and resurrection of Jesus compel us to recognize God's glory in the work of the cross. That Jesus was and is God's redemption and salvation plan for humanity.

When it comes to missions and why we do it, let it be because Jesus is Worthy!

Having been criticised by the religious leaders for hanging out with the sinners and tax collectors, Jesus started to tell 3 parables back to back (Luke 15)...
• The parable of the Lost sheep
• The parable of the Lost coin
• The parable of the Lost son

What we can observe in all 3 stories is:
• a deliberate seeking out of the LOST, and
• an overwhelming celebration when the LOST is FOUND!

This teaching of Jesus is exemplified when Zacchaeus the chief tax collector meets Jesus and he and his household receive salvation! "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." (Luke 19:10)

As we enter the Holy Week, let's reflect on Jesus' heart for the lost. Whether it's those who haven't found the way or those who have lost their way, Jesus doesn't wait for them to come to him. He goes to seek them out!

These students have completed the 3-week SBS seminar! Now they just gotta keep going and keep digging deeper, and never give up!

Noah & Rozie are gonna be in town teaching in the DTS. They are full time missionaries with YWAM, currently based in Cape Town, South Africa. They lead the Prayer Room on the base. They are passionate about seeing people fall in love with Jesus through prayer, worship, and discipleship. And their ultimate goal in life is knowing God and making Him known!

As a family they have a deep love for God & His presence, and desires many to come into a deep intimate relationship- know their God given identity and be obedient to the Holy Spirit. They have been serving with Ywam since 1998, and pioneered Kerusso School of the Kingdom

But what exactly is a worldview? The simplest way to understand it is as the lens through which we interpret all our experiences. It is our baseline understanding of reality, the presuppositions we take into every moment that we don’t even think about or challenge.

For many of us, our worldview is more assumed than fully formed and developed. But Christians need to be intentional about our worldview. Having a Biblical Worldview means allowing the gospel to transform our view of the world.
