FAST had a great time at the Fiesta sa Bayan ni Juan event held on 23 June 2024 at Bayanihan Centre, in celebration of the Philippine National Day and 55 years of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Singapore.

H. E. Medardo Macaraig, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore, graced the event together with other Philippine Embassy officials.

It was indeed a fun event with more than 2,000 attendees. Congratulations to the organising committee and the Philippine Embassy for a successful event! 🥳

In collaboration with student volunteers of ACS(I), FAST held the fourth Digital Literacy & Languages 📖 session on Sunday 16 June where participants had a great time during the Introductory TikTok and Capcut class where they learnt basic TikTok video-making skills!

On 14 June 2024, FAST attended the Philippine National Day Reception commemorating the country’s 126th anniversary of their independence. It is also a celebration of the 55 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and the Philippines.

The Guest of Honour was Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, accompanied by Members of Parliament Mr. Liang Eng Wah and Mr. Murali Pillai Sc.

Congratulations to H. E. Medardo Macaraig, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore, and the Philippine Embassy in Singapore team for a successful event! 🎉

FAST is glad to have also met with dignitaries from the Embassy of Indonesia in Singapore: H.E. Suryo Pratomo (Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore) and Mr. Sulistijo Djati Ismojo (Deputy Chief of Mission); the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Myanmar in Singapore, Mr. Zaw Zaw Soe; and our community partners as well!
