The study of Christian Theology should not be an intellectual pursuit left only to academics or pastors. Instead, every member of this church should pursue the study of theology because theology deepens your understanding of God, helps you live your faith in a way that is Christ-centred and helps you explain your faith to non-Christians. With this in mind, the church librarians have decided to feature books from the Theology in Community series which is a resource for exploring both theology and practice in an accessible way.

It was heartening to see youths and young adults from Kampong Kapor Methodist Church and Toa Payoh Methodist Church gather together with their friends for a special time of worship and sharing on Holy Saturday, 30 March!

One of our church members spotted a cross in the sky at our 6.45am Easter Sunrise service on Sunday. May it be a reminder that all heavens will declare the glory of our Risen Lord (Psalm 19:1). We hope everyone had a Blessed Easter and Holy Week! 🙏✝️🌅

On 6 January 2024, members across 3 congregations, both young and old gathered to spend a day in prayer and fasting. We brought ourselves and KKMC before God's throne, brought His presence into the community as we walked and prayed, and lifted up the congregations and ministries to God in prayer.

Come and join us at our next combined Church Prayer Time which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, 7 February, 8pm to 9.30pm, where we’ll be praying for all of our missionaries and the work in the mission fields.

In 2024, KKMC will have a church-wide study on the book of Nehemiah. Read Rev Ho Chee Sin's introduction to Nehemiah to find out more.

All glory and thanks to our ever faithful and loving God for seeing Kampong Kapor Methodist Church through the past 130 years! To celebrate, we in English, Mandarin, Tamil and Peranakan services got together as one big family to enjoy a sumptuous lunch and amazing fellowship. It was the first time we had our anniversary lunch at church.

From rejoicing with families who presented their children for baptism on Christmas Eve, to a community themed skit and a time of carols on Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day morning, we were thrilled to welcome our neighbours, friends, and family amongst us as we shared the message of true hope and joy that Jesus gives. We also celebrate with those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour at the Christmas services! 🎉✨💒

As Christians and as a church, we have been called to share the good news of Jesus Christ. For many, this is probably not something that comes automatically or easily. The Moms' LifeGroup was actually a spin-off from the Dads' LifeGroup! The Moms' LifeGroup has been a safe space for members to learn, share and grow together.

Journeying together since their university days, YAF LifeGroup makes the effort to meet every fortnight for fellowship, bible study and prayer, no matter how busy they are.

From raising children to becoming grandparents, God's Family LifeGroup has been around for 33 years!
