3G Abacus organised its second speed mental math records challenge at the company premises on 15 Jan 2023.
Nirvi Jain broke her previous record with 134 correct answers for Fastest 3×1-Digit Multiplications.
Lucas Chan Yee Jie also broke the record for Fastest 4-By-1-Digit Divisions with 102 answers.
Ryan Khoo Jian Yang managed 48 solutions for the Fastest 6-By-4-Digit Divisions (Average of 6.35s per question)
All were completed in 5 min. 👏🏻👏🏻

3 of our students currently hold 5 records in Singapore Book of Records for fastest Mental Calculation. The Award Ceremony was held on 6 November 2022 at 3G Abacus Head Office.

1) Ryan Khoo Jian Yang, 14 year old
i) Fastest 4-by-2 Digit Division in 5 Minutes, achieving 116 correct answers.
ii) Fastest 2x2 Digit Multiplications in 5 Minutes, achieving 104 correct answers.
iii) Fastest to Complete 50 Multiplications & 50 Division on Sporcle, in a time of 0min 57sec.
2) Nirvi Jain, 10 year old
Fastest 3x1 Digit Multiplications in 5 Minutes, achieving 128 correct answers.
3) Lucas Chan Yee Jie, 12 year old
Fastest 4-by-1 Digit Division in 5 Minutes, achieving 79 correct answers.
