HE USES OUR 5 LOAVES AND 2 FISHES

Gracia Chiang brought along her skills and experiences in writing and teaching God’s Word for a mission trip to Timor-Leste. The Lord used her gifts in ways beyond what she could think of. When we offer up our five loaves and two fishes, He multiplies it so that others can be fed. Timor-Leste has many needs, and everyone has something to contribute. May we all also have the chance to marvel at how our God can do greater things than we can ever imagine.

“Dear Lord God Almighty, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we thank You for the challenge of mobilising churches and members to pray and raise financial resources for two church building projects in Thailand [Mittaphab Methodist Church and Thung Yao Preaching Point] plus our General Fund. Thank You for the local churches and donors who have pledged over 70% of the targeted sum. We ask by faith that the balance will come within the next 30 days. We embark upon such a bold step of faith as we acknowledge that You are Sovereign and Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

MY FATHER’S BUSINESS FUNDRAISING BANQUET 2024

MMS is having a fundraising banquet in August. We are reaching out to our valued supporters and members of the Methodist community to pray and support our efforts to develop our national church leaders and provide resources for church-building projects in our mission fields. MMS church building projects are a testament to the goodness of our heavenly Father, your bountiful generosity, and our commitment to mobilising the Methodist community in Singapore to make disciples and multiply indigenous churches in this region.

Indeed, we thank God for His faithfulness and goodness! Rejoicing with St Paul Methodist Timor-Leste

This video was shown at the Thanksgiving Dinner on 7 July 2024. It traced the history of the school from its humble beginning. Today, we see a spanking new school compound for about 800 students. These students are the future of Timor-Leste.

Please continue to keep SPMS and Timor-Leste in your prayer.
