A record of over 5,800 participants took part in this year’s SAFRA Swim for Hope held over two months. A total of $250,000 was raised to help those in need within the community through five beneficiaries – NCSS Special Assistance Fund, SPD, President’s Challenge, SAF Care Fund and the Singapore Aquatics Development Fund.
Chief of Defence Force Vice Admiral Aaron Beng graced the event finale held at SAFRA Tampines earlier today and also joined the swim. The charity swim also continued to receive strong support from the Republic of Singapore Navy and national athletes from Singapore Aquatics.
