Today we had the pleasure of hosting members of the Down Syndrome Family Network and Champ Fleurs Friends Foundations as we recognize the UN’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The aim behind today’s session was to promote inclusion and acceptance through the sport of cheerleading, while raising awareness about our sport within our local community.
We at Cheer Fusion All Stars felt honored to share our sport of cheerleading with the amazing group of kids, parents and volunteers.
We look forward to having our new friends with us again!

More About Cheer Fusion All Stars
As of date, Cheer Fusion All Stars is the newest and one of the only recognised All Star Cheerleading and Hip Hop teams in Port of Spain.
Our Head Coaches are the sister duo Corissa and Hadassah Bournes. They are currently members of theTrinidad and Tobago National Cheerleading team and certified coaches under the Trinidad and Tobago Cheer Federation (T.T.C.F). They first gained their coaching experience taking on their school team the Holy Name Convent Blue Jaguars, Senior Level 3 and Junior Level 1 as well as for the first time choreographing for their Hip Hop team which made their debut at Nationals- Cheer Xplosion.
Corissa Bournes was also awarded the opportunity to attend the prestigous Universal Cheerleaders Association "Work Week", along with The President of TTCF and other team mates for two consecutive years making them the first Trinidad and Tobago representatives to be part of such an organization. She is now eligible to teach cheerleading nationwide.
Also with her 11 years of experience in gymnastics, Corissa is certified in Gymnastics For All by the Trinidad and Tobago Gymnastics Federation.
Hadassah Bournes, who is a 2016 National Additional Scholarship winner in the area of Creative Studies, is a former student and cheer coach at Holy Name Convent, POS. She was also involved in gymnastics for several years and is now working on attaining her certification to become a Tumbling Instructor.
Cheer Fusion All Stars is aspiring and is well on their way to be the premier All Star Cheerleading and Hip Hop team not only in Port of Spain but in Trinidad and Tobago, where athletes not only limit themselves to local competition but aim to compete Internationally.
We encourage a family atmosphere opening our doors to children of every background and involving the support of our parents as they are the backbone of CFA. Cheer Fusion wants to go the extra mie for our cheerleaders by helping them with their condince and giving them the tool and skills to be exceptional leaders.
We strongly believe in following the standards set by the International Cheer Union, the governing body for the sport of Cheerleading world wide, and doing so with our athletes safety as top priority.
