Kuakini Physcians' Tower office - Renovation

Here's our newly remodeled space! We are so happy to have worked with Indie Road once again. As always, they kept the place tidy (even in full demo), were responsive, and built a space that we love!

Even though we shared pictures of the improvements over the course of a month, they completed the work in a little over a week.

More and more theaters in Hawaii* and across the country are expanding open captioned show times!

The change is aimed at improving the viewing experience for people who have hearing loss and for whom English is not their first language.

WHAT ARE OPEN CAPTIONS?

Open captions — similar to subtitles — appear on the screen and cannot be turned off, while closed captioning is displayed on electronic devices that customers must request. The company says the majority of showtimes will continue to be offered with closed captioning, meaning it will still make assisted listening devices available at all of its locations.

Aloha Audiologists! Audiology Associates Hawaii (AAH) is a well-established private practice with two locations on the beautiful and bustling island of Oahu in Hawaii. Our clinic is busy and we want you to be part of our success. We are looking for a part-time or full-time audiologist who has the knowledge and desire to perform hearing evaluations, vestibular assessments, and dispense hearing aids in a private practice setting. The audiologist will be required to work at both office locations throughout the week as well as at an ENT clinic two half days a week. They must have a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or Master’s Degree in Audiology and currently have (or have the ability) to obtain a Hawaii state license in audiology. We are looking for someone who is ambitious with a strong work ethic, courteous of their shared work area, able to work independently, and gets along well with professional staff. This job would also require Saturday hours (every other week) for a total of 40 hours per week. A retirement plan with company match is also available. Position available on or after October 1, 2021.
