Emergency crews are on scene of a traffic accident on Thompson Rd. between Bermuda Lake Dr. and Sterling Gate Dr. The road between Bermuda Lake and Sterling Gate will be closed for an extended period of time until APCO can get the power lines off of the road. Please be patient and take an alternate route until further. We will update once the roadway is back open.

Please be aware that Alabaster Water will have approximately 100 ft of 5th Ave SE just off Simmsville Rd closed for most of the day today to repair a water main break. We will advise when the roadway is back open.

Independence Day is almost here, and that means plenty of celebrations, cook-outs and fireworks!
If you plan to shoot your own fireworks off in the coming days, please be mindful of your neighbors and the city’s noise ordinance. The ordinance prohibits loud and disruptive noise, including fireworks, in Alabaster city limits between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. each day.
