The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because there was an incident that required everyone to get out of the pool and the staff did not communicate at all or even as to approximately how long everything was going to take. We have a small glitch with opening On Monday from 6-9 am for lap swimmers. Please bear with us as we have some equipment issues, are in the process of taking care of it and will be able to open on Tuesday the 28th of May. Sorry for the late notice and all but we want to make sure it is all ready to go for the lap swimmers and all swimmers. Surf's coming up quickly.

Our Story
Splashland Hot Springs Swimming Pool began in 1955 when the owners were drilling for oil and hit a geothermal pocket of water. The water enters the pool at 104* F year-round with average temperatures ranging 88-96 * pool wide. They turned the discovery into what is now Splashland LLC which has served Alamosa , the entire San Luis Valley and surrounding area ever since. We have in & out-of-state visitors swimming frequently as well as foreign country visitors enjoying our pool. We hope you have an enjoyable stay with us . . .
We offer a “Kids Only” Triathlon (14 and under) in August with Splashland’s Annual Benefit Sprint Triathlon (Run 3.4 miles, Bike 10 miles and finish by Swimming 400 yards in our warm water pool) mid- October. -> -> -> NEW THIS YEAR
