Lehigh County 4-H
Welcome to Lehigh County 4-H Facebook! These goals can be accomplished through communicating in a group, working cooperatively and being responsible.
4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.
4-H Goals
To increase a member’s knowledge in a variety of project areas, while teaching life-skills such as decision-making, public speaking, and leadership. Members can learn through experience, preparing, designing and evaluating their projects. Interested parents and other adults have opportunities to grow through working with 4-H members.
4-H Camp is the place for kids to grow, learn, try new things, get dirty, and develop into an independent person. It’s my favorite week of the year, and this year was wonderful. I am so honored to work with and amazing team of teens and adults! I am thrilled to say that this group of camp counselors are going to going to rock the world with their work ethic, tenacity, personal skills, and teamwork! It’s been a long haul since COVID, and these kids have become adults in front of my eyes. So excited for the future!
Tonight is the last night of our Candymaking Sunset Camp! A sweet, chilling, messy camp- but oh so lovely!
Awesome job!!
When 4-H staff and 4-H Volunteer children are stuck at an event as a setter upper, clean upper, and must wait 1.5 hours for their turn… they turn good old toys (little green army men, blocks, rubrics cube, and Mr. Potato Head) into a great night with some good friends!! A lucky group of kids! And we adults are so thankful for the sacrifices they make so we can offer 4-H programming to other kids in our communities. It takes a village!
