Advocacy involves fostering relationships with elected officials. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with Congressman Michael Rulli, a dedicated advocate for our community and country. Our collaboration during the pandemic to support the SPARK program was impactful. At the time, he was Senator Rulli. It was and remains evident that he genuinely cares. It's reassuring to have such a passionate and capable individual in a crucial position. —ECEA Director, Liz Hibbs

What an amazing conference! ECEA was able to send early childhood educators from the Alliance area centers to the OAEYC conference this year via grant support from the Sisters of Charity Foundation and the Department of Education and Workforce.
The OAEYC conference is a rewarding and submersive experience in all things pertaining to early childhood and developmentally appropriate practices. People from ALL around the world 🌎 come together in Ohio to celebrate children and obtain professional development that ensures we’re best meeting their needs. How awesome it is to be part of this world wide community of lifelong learners, leaders, advocates and educators.
Let’s continue working together to change lives for the better one moment at a time. In the words of Debbie Clement, “I think you’re wonderful. I think you’re marvelous. I think you’re beautiful, and magical and filled with curiosity…and dreams.”
