Clothed In Righteousness Inc.
We are a Homeless Outreach Ministry dedicated to building relationships and meeting the needs of the homeless community. Go to our website for our videos!
If you are homeless or housed no appointment is required. There might be a wait for services due to how busy we are. http://www.clothedinrighteousness.org/about-us.html
Clothed In Righteousness will be closed from Friday, August 30 to Wednesday, September 4. This break will give our hardworking volunteers much-needed time off to rest and recharge. We value and appreciate all our volunteers and want to ensure their happiness and well-being by preventing burnout. Our services will resume on Thursday, September 5 from 5 pm to 7 pm, and the Blessing Box will be restocked nightly.
๐โ๐บ๐ธ
We still have 5 Meal Ministry dates available for September. Can you help out? Church groups and individuals who love to cook or bake are welcome. You can prepare food for 50 or 100 people. Please click the sign-up Genesis link below to see which dates work for you. If you'd like to cover the entire meal, feel free to cook whatever is easiest for you.
Please consider helping us fill the tummies of the homeless and families in need every Monday and Thursday. We need everyone's help! The need is great!๐
We've decided to simplify the meal donation process to make it easier for people to contribute. Instead of one person preparing meals for 150 people, we're encouraging three people to each prepare meals for 50 people. You can sign up to donate using the link below. If you prefer to donate an entire meal as you have in the past, you're welcome to take all the slots for that day and bring the meal of your choice. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are incredibly grateful for your consistent support and would love to have you join us one evening at CIR to see the impact of our work firsthand!๐

Where do we begin? Cyndi not only has a beautiful and kind heart, but she also works hard to keep the Clothing Closet looking beautiful. I call her the โOther Cyndiโ simply because we have 2 Cyndis spelled the same way working in the Clothing Closet. When Cyndi originally came to us, we thought we would place her in the food pantry to pack bags for our clients, but we instantly saw how organized she was and the attention to detail she showed. She was a perfect candidate for helping to organize the Clothing Closet and spending quality time helping our clients shop on Meal Ministry nights. When Cyndi Austin had to step aside from leading the Clothing Closet for an outside job, the โOther Cyndiโ gracefully stepped into the leader's role of managing the Clothing Closet. Not only is she compassionate and thoughtful with CIR clients, but she is also great to work alongside within the Clothing Closet. Many people comment on how peaceful it is in her presence. She loves everyone without judgment. Cyndi works many hours sorting, tagging, organizing, and cleaning. Many times, we have to force her to take multiple days off. She never boasts about how hard she works but remains humble!
"Cyndi, I hope you know how much we all love you. Thank you for making it a pleasure to work alongside you. Most of all, thank you for loving our homeless family as much as we do. You have a beautiful soul!"๐
Thank you to everyone who came out this morning to drop off your donations. The Clothing Closet Team has a lot of sorting and tagging to do this week. We appreciate everyoneโs generosity!
Additionally, we would like to thank you for your Amazon Wish List donations.
Thank you for your generous donations!
๐๐๐ผ๐
We will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-7 to receive your donations. ๐
We would like to express our gratitude to First Christian Church of Malvern and Deb Filisky for providing a delicious and plentiful meal for everyone. It's heartwarming to fill the blessing box with home-cooked meals. Although we forgot to take pictures last night, we are thankful to Brunnerโs for donating sweet corn, tomatoes, and zucchini for all our clients to take home. Any remaining produce was placed in the blessing box for others to enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who dropped off tangible donations last night. The backroom is full of clothes again. We appreciate all of you who pray for us, cook, clean, and donate. We couldnโt do all of this without God and you. Thank you for your support!!!
We are excited to announce that we will be open this Saturday, August 24th from 9 am to 11 am to receive your gently used clothing, shoes, blankets, backpacks, tents, and non-expired food donations. We are in desperate need of backpacks, socks, new adult underwear, and new tents. Thank you for all you do to keep our racks and shelves stocked at CIR.
Thank you, Dwayne, for scrubbing and painting the inside of the Blessing Box. Look how clean it is ๐! ๐

This man is truly a blessing! Dwayne is the first person you see when you drop off donations or check in for services. He is always there early for every service night or any event at CIR.๐ Dwayne is our go-to person for organizing movie nights๐ฝ๐ and holds the third-highest position at CIR. He is so generous that he would give you the shirt off his back.๐ Dwayne, a dedicated veteran ๐บ๐ธ, treats the homeless like family. He is always eager to volunteer and help, to the point where you have to tell him to slow down so he doesn't overwork himself. The most used phrase by Dwayne is, โIt will work out, it always does!โ He is correct! God always works it out!๐
Thank you, Dwayne, for always serving from the heart! We love you!

We have nothing but gratitude for our Clothed In Righteousness volunteers and their families for assisting with filling over 200 balloons, assembling the float, and participating in the Carnation Parade. It was the most beautiful float to date.
We got to blare Jesus' music along State Street and Union, Dwayne and his horn honking for the kids, bubbles were blown along the route, and all the candy we got to throw. Planting seeds of Jesus! โค๏ธ
A few shout-outs to Cyndi and Dwayne for all the planning to make this float possible. Dwayne was out of town on vacation but didn't want to miss out on the parade. He drove back overnight with no sleep to make all this happen for us.
Ms. Vicki, thank you for your heart for sharing Jesus and handing out the New Testament to a few parade-goers. A special ๐๐ป thank you to Darlene Grimm for coming and just hanging out. It was a blessed day! Thank you, Jesus!

Our first "Crafting with Jesus" session will occur on Saturday, August 17th from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The CIR Blessing Box recently received a fresh coat of paint, new doors, and installed hardware. After 3 years of the elements, the blessing box needed a little love. Both doors are now working. A big thank you to Jeff and Debra Filisky for their impressive carpentry and painting skills. We are very grateful for your service. Many of you who visit CIR on Mondays have met Debra and know about her beautiful and kind heart. ๐
