Rally Niagara is pleased to offer "free" pickleball morning game play at ECC North Campus (Bell Sports Center) on Sunday, Sept 1st from 8 AM to 12 PM. 5 courts will be utilized with 4 of them being used for general doubles rotational game play along with a challenge court.

Information on our upcoming fall programs, currently online, will also be available at the gym and include leagues, instruction, training, and open play. There will also be free give away's each hour and light snacks and refreshments.

Invite friends and we hope to see you all on the 1st. It will be an exciting Fall season of pickleball play at Rally Niagara!

Youth Badminton Fall Instructional Classes @ Rally Niagara

This coming fall season we have an exciting offering of instructional badminton classes for youth (ages 7 to 18) on Sunday afternoons. Small group coaching is performed by a dedicated team of screened coaches that are passionate about instructing and training youth on various badminton skills, drills, strategies & game play. Registration can be made via button below.

Classes are 10 weeks in duration. An end of season badminton tournament will also be held on Saturday, Dec 15th (date subject to change) in which interested Rally Niagara students and other youth in the community are welcome to participate in.

Class offerings:

* Sunday, 10 weeks of classes - Two options - 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM & 3:15 PM to 4:30 PM, Cost $149, Dates Sep 29 - Dec 8 (all ages & skill levels)

(There will be an evaluation on the first class to ensure students are placed in an appropriate age/skill group)

Leagues & Instructional Classes:

Rally Niagara offers a variety of instructional pickleball programs and leagues to the WNY community. Our spring / summer offerings listed below have now been posted to our website. Buttons are located below with link to details and registration.

Adult Pickleball Instruction - Rally Niagara offers a 4 week (once per week) small group instructional classes which will introduce pickleball fundamentals, strategies, and skills over 4 weeks. The instructor is David Butler. David has been teaching Pickleball for 30 years in his HS classes in Akron. He is a member of the US Pickleball Association (USPA), (PPR) (Pickleball Pro Registry and Pickleball Coaching International (PCI). He looks forward to sharing his passion and experience of pickleball with you. Limited spots are available. Cost is $59. Registration for Level 1 & 2 classes can be made via links below.

Instructional / Training Classes Offered:

Level 1 - for folks starting out in Pickleball. Instruction includes basic rallying, serving, learning the scoring system, rules of the game, and game play.

Level 2 - for folks with 3-6 months game play experience, scoring, serving, and rallying proficiencies. Instruction will include strategies of the game, dinking, serving, 3rd shot returns, etc.

Pickleball Leagues - Come join us for exciting 5 week leagues sessions.

Leagues include doubles progressive (individual sign-up with different partners each game), mini-pickleball, singles recreational & competitive, and dedicated team leagues featuring mixed doubles & women's doubles.

Leagues depending on participation are ladder based with shifting between groups for competitive game play. Statistics are updated weekly on website. Trophies will be given to the top players / teams on last week of play based on best record. Registration for sessions can be made via link by button below. League cost is $55 per person. Youth Doubles Badminton Tournament

Come join us for our annual Rally Niagara Youth Doubles Badminton Tournament featuring an afternoon of competitive badminton youth play. Doubles preliminary games will be played followed by bracket elimination games for boys & girls at various age levels. If sufficient registrations are received, a main draw and consolation will be offered. There will be door prize drawings, medals, and gift card prizes awarded to top players.

* Each participant will be required to register and pay before Wednesday, May 15th deadline in order to be eligible to play. *

What a great event this past Saturday as 102 participants / 58 teams competed for the Rally Niagara Cup. Thank you to all who participated and congratulations to our individual and team winners and overall club winner - The University of Rochester. U of R fielded another strong contingent of players and hoisted up the cup as our first repeat. We'll see if things may change at our next event in the Fall. 😉. Our newest offered league - Played as doubles in a progressive format - all at the non-volley zone. Great excitement and practice for the short game as we all know this is where the "magic" happens as pickleball skill increases

* Doubles Progressive Ladder Leagues *
Leagues are progressive which means that each game is played with a different partner against two others. Depending on no. of participants, each week 1-2 players are assigned to a group up or down based on performance to maintain competitive game play. Trophies are awarded to top player(s) on last week.

* Women's Doubles *
Come join us for an exciting 5 weeks of women's recreational pickleball doubles league game play at Rally Niagara. Players sign-up individually, pay, and list their partners name. Each week teams will be paired with different teams in a group for 4 to 6 round robin games. Based on weekly performance, teams will be shifted between groups for competitive game play.

* Mixed Doubles *
Come join us for mixed doubles (one male, one female) pickleball league game play at Rally Niagara. Players sign-up individually, pay, and list their partners name. Each week teams will be paired up against others for game play in a round robin format.
