The 2nd Annual Sweet Home Futures Game is scheduled for August 18th with warm ups at 6:30 and first pitch at 7:30 PM.

The game is open to the first 24 incoming 6th (Class of 2030) and 7th (Class of 2031) graders at Sweet Home.

Important Info for Picture Day 📸

➡️ Location is the Grassy area between D1 & D2

➡️ Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time so we can keep the line moving. When you arrive, please find your coach and wait with your team. When your entire team is present, your coach will bring your team to the check-in table.

➡️ Players should dress in full uniform. Bats are not necessary, but you may bring your child's glove.

➡️ Mel Ott will not be offering a makeup date. If your child is not able to attend our scheduled Picture Day, please reach out directly to Hermann Studios (716-632-0473) to make accommodations with them. You will need to do so prior to June 14th.

➡️ It’s quick and easy to set up an account through our photographer, Hermann Studios, by texting MOLL24 to 90738. They will send a link to your phone as soon as your child’s photos are ready. You will be able to choose and order the photos that you love.

Hello Mel Ott Families,

Opening day is just a few days away and we are so excited to welcome everyone to the 2024 season!

⚾️ If you are participating in the Player Parade, please arrive at Sweet Home Middle School front parking lot at 8:15 AM as the parade will be leaving at 8:30 AM. You may park at Mel Ott and walk to the school or vice versa. You will see your divisons designated area marked (T-Ball, Machine Pitch, 2A, etc) and you will find your team to walk with.

🥎 The parade will be led by North Bailey Firetruck, Amherst Police, Buffalo Ghostbusters, Superheros/Star Wars characters, SH Panther and Amherst Central Band. Once we arrive at Mel Ott, please head to Diamond 3 where there will be an Opening Ceremony.

🏏Similar to last year, we will have a player participation and banner creativity contest. The more kids that come to the parade on your team, the greater the chance to win some fun team prizes! Don't forget to get creative and make a team banner too, best banner will earn you more tickets for the drawing. Grand prize is...a Team Suite at a Buffalo Bison's Game sponsored by Supreme Lending!
