A year-round, competitive USA Swimming team based out of Amherst Middle School. The TigerSharks are a new USA Swimming team.
We offer personal attention and seasonal membership. Our practices are held at Amherst Middle School, although we are not affiliated with the school district.

Harrison from the teal group has grown so much this past year and his confidence in the water has been noted by all the coaches! He’s passion for the sport is seen in his high attendance rate and attended his first official meet as a Tigersharks last month. Congrats!!

✨️Swimmer of the Month for February✨️ Delaney Briggs of the Orange group. Delaney had a strong month of practice highlighted by her attendance rate of 73%. Her work ethic is an excellent example of her Commitment and Passion. Delaney had a number of strong swims as she hit multiple Personal Records at the SnowBall meet. Delaney shows her Conscientiousness as she is often very engaged at meets and eager to ask questions so she can continue to learn and improve. 🦈🏊♀️
✨️February Swimmer of the Month✨️ Jack Sinatra of the Orange group. Jack consistently has a high rate of attendance and that continued this month as he was present at 82% of the practices. Jack furthered his demonstration of Commitment by participating in both the SnowBall meet and the Dog Days meet. Jack hit Personal Records 6 times in the month of February. His success can be attributed to his Perseverance & Resilience. Lastly, Jack demonstrated Courage when he swam and completed the 100 Butterfly for this first time in his career. 🦈🏊♂️

Even though Jack is in the middle of his Highschool season, he has seemed to make his presence known on the pool deck regardless! Jack volunteers his time with the orange and white group and shoes passion for this team and sport so much so that the kids in these group ask for him to coach more!! Congrats Jack!

Lucy is a new member of the teal group but it didn’t take her long to make a big impact! He courage to step up as a leader has made many swimmers comfortable with her and the team. Hee passion for the sport is still very noticeable as she focuses on her swimming more than ever and has great goals to achieve!!! Congrats Lucy

October Swimmer of the Month
As an orange group swimmer, Gabby has shown resilience and perseverance at practice and meets that have powered her to multiple personal records and new qualifying times. And with a 94% attendance rate we can tell you hee passion for swimming radiates on the pool deck.

Henry passion for the sport and strong work ethic proved to pay off with very strong swims early this season. The coaches have noticed his courage to push himself beyond limits and try new skills to develop him as an athlete!

In conjunction with the 10 & Under LSC Select Camp at Rochester Institute of Technology this past weekend, Niagara hosted our first "Women In Coaching" event! Thanks to our sponsors USA Swimming, Speedo, The Deep End, and the Rochester Sports Commission, all participants received a complimentary Speedo tech jacket and event-specific bag tag for attending this inaugural event! Raffle items were also donated.
Dana Skelton, Team Services Advisor & Mariejo (MJ) Truex, Senior Director, Team, Coach & Athlete Development, joined us from USA Swimming to talk about confidence, being a leader in the sport, upcoming coach education opportunities, and how to get involved in the governance of our LSC.
