‼️ 𝙐𝙋𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 9:20 p.m. - New Prospect Elementary School power restored! Normal operations tomorrow (05/10) for New Prospect.

‼️ 𝙐𝙋𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 5:20 p.m. - Concord Elementary School power restored! Normal operations tomorrow (05/10) for Concord.

Anderson Five is looking to return to a normal operating schedule tomorrow: Friday, May 10th. At this time we have TWO sites still without power (Nevitt Forest Elementary and the Anderson Adult Education Center). After consulting with Duke Energy, the likelihood is that these schools will have power restored sometime tonight. As power is restored, we will send out additional updates via our district-wide messenger system.

You can expect an update from the school district by 5:15 a.m. tomorrow regarding the status of all schools, and we will let you know at that time if any school remains without power. If that is the case then the affected school(s) will eLearn again on 05/10. We are hopeful that each site is brought back online tonight, and we are thankful for Duke Energy and their help in restoring power to each of our schools.

Due to the impact of the severe weather last night, Anderson Five will be observing an eLearning Day today. We know that many of our families are without power, and also many teachers are without power, so please be assured we will be flexible in regards to allowing additional time for making up eLearning assignments for today.

📚Tomorrow is the last day for the bookfair!

All purchases must be made by 2:30 PM on Tuesday, April 30. If anyone sends money for their children to shop, they need to place money in a labeled envelope (child’s name, teacher's name, and "Bookfair")." Teachers will take them to the bookfair throughout the day to make selections, or parents can shop with children during arrival or dismissal times.

All forms of payment are accepted: cash, checks, credit cards, and smartphone methods like ApplePay, GooglePay, and Samsung Wallet.

Spring Family Fun Night is this Thursday, April 25th! 🌸☀️

𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍! Anderson Five schools will observe an early release schedule on May 20th and May 21st.

📝 May 21st is a Final Exam Make-up Day for High school students.

🍳 Breakfast will be offered to all students on both days.

🥗 Lunch will be offered on both days (except for High schoolers on 05/21)

🚍 Buses will run both days
