The Camp Staff would like to say, "Thank You to the Special Olympics!" They dropped off delicious goodies for us to enjoy in appreciation of our support. The Special Olympics use our camp gym in the Family Life Center for their practices! We are thrilled to partner with them.

At our Annual Celebration on Saturday we also recognized Jerry Parker for his years of service to the camp as a Board Member the last 14 years, 9 of those as Treasurer. Jerry has been an excellent resource and help as the financial landscape of the camp has changed greatly. We could count on Jerry for the needed advice and assistance with our accounting and budgeting. Jerry is pictured here with his wife Sherri. She has served in the past as dean for our former volleyball camps. We appreciate both of you tremendously! (Jerry & Sherri could not be with us on Saturday as they were celebrating the marriage of their daughter. Help us by giving a big camp "Thank You" here on FB.)

Jim Neuenschwander was honored last night at our Annual Celebration with the “Violet Patee Award for Lifelong Service”. Jim, we appreciate all that you’ve done for the camp behind the scenes that have impacted lives for eternity! Several of our own Lake James peeps got to lead worship and hang out at Butlers Springs Christian Camp for their Middle School Retreat this weekend. Partnerships for God’s Kingdom work is amazing & awesome!

Ladies Night Out last night was a sweet time of fellowship over dinner, worship led by the Saltsman ladies and being challenged on "The Armor of God" by Lynn Pratt & Lena Wood. 89 ladies attended and $1107.00 was raised to go towards the new carpeting project in the Memorial Hall sleeping areas. It was great night for the Men’s Rally Monday! 182 guys showed up for a delicious meal, fellowship and worship. Shout out to Great Lakes Christian College for bringing 18 students & leaders! The offering this evening went to replacing the water heaters in Memorial Hall. If you’d like to give to this project let us know!
