Due to the City of Ankeny changing Beggars Night from Wednesday to Thursday AWC has changed our schedule as follows:

ALL Wednesday practices are ON

ALL Thursday practices are CANCELED

Pictures that were schedule for Thursday will now be taken on Wednesday at the time you signed up for.

This year, pictures will be taken at Sandeen Photography located at 2825 S Ankeny Blvd, Unit 105, Ankeny, IA. Each wrestler will need to sign up for a time slot. Please have your wrestler wear their 2024 AWC club shirt with black athletic shorts and singlet.

The club will purchase a memory mate for each wrestler. The memory mate includes an individual and team picture.

Hello AWC Families! We were recently blessed by Coach Jay Groth and Nike with a generous donation of 19 youth shoes and 17 hoodies for our AWC wrestlers!! The shoes range from 12c - 7 with limited numbers per size along with YM and YL hoodies. These items will be available for pickup and limited drop off's at practices. Please comment below if there is a size you are looking for and I will do my best to match you up with a pair.

Ankeny Wrestling Club will be holding a parents meeting on Thursday, September 19th. The meeting will be at Southview Middle School at 6:30. The meeting will cover information about our season, meet the coaches, and answer any questions you might have. We look forward to seeing you Thursday!

Tonight is our last practice in the 3rd-8th grade room before Districts 💪🏼

These kids have been working so hard all season and we couldn’t be more proud of them. Thank you to the athletes for continually pushing yourselves and striving to be better. Thank you to our amazing coaches and volunteers for making this season a success for our wrestlers. Thank you to the parents and families and fans for the support!
