The 2024-2025 School Year opens for most students on Monday, August 26. Here’s a breakdown of the first days across Anne Arundel County,
Monday, August 26: Classes for students in grades 1-5, 6, and 9. Start of staggered openings for ECI,PreK, and kindergarten students.
Tuesday, August 27: Classes for students in grades 1-12.
Seven Schools Opening One Day Late
The first day of classes for the following schools will take place on Tuesday, August 27: Two Rivers Elementary School, Old Mill Middle School South, Wiley H. Bates Middle School, Meade High School, Severn Run High School, Phoenix Academy, and the Mary Moss @ J. Albert Adams Academy. Staggered starts will shift and will be in effect at middle and high schools.
