The end of one season, the beginning of another soon….. great time for a chiropractic tune up I’d your 4 legged friends

Excited to be one of the presenters at this years AVCA animal chiropractic conference. I will be talking about agility events and providing chiropractic care for these athletes.

The amazing animal kingdom…years ago, I had the opportunity to work with some Bison at Dr. Frank King’s in Leicester, NC. What an honor. This big boy was at below freezing temps in Yellowstone.

Sometimes I go a long time before posting anything….Looking forward to seeing old and new faces at the upcoming UKI agility event in Waynesville, NC the weekend of June 25,25,27. It is fun to back out there to help these amazing animals compete and have so much fun doing it. Agility is such a wonderful connection between dogs and people. Come see how it works.

just returned from 3 days of animal chiropractic. Meeting new doctors, seeing old friends...laughing and telling stories about the giraffe etc....what an incredibly smart and gifted group of people. Seminars about many things and I am excited to begin new things with the animals I work on like fascial techniques and taping.
So grateful.....

the best and the brightest will be in Orlando for the AVCA annual convention on animal chiropractic. Will be so wonderful to see old friends, make new ones, and learn from esteemed colleagues....so I can be of better service to the animals I am honored to work with.......more later......

in Concord at the Speedway Classic..thanks to the Greater Monroe Kennel Club for doing such a magnificent job coordinating everything and the flyball folks for coming by too.....it is good to be out of the heat of Charlotte/Concord and back in the mountains. Next up: Morrisville trial (Raleigh area) labor day weekend...will be sending out an announcement to my email group soon.....

independence day and I think celebrating all the amazing agility folks at Fast and Furryous and all the dogs and handlers there too. So many are going on the the Nationals in RI next week...best of luck to all . Wish I could go too...glad Beverly and Tammy are headed that way to provide their incredibly helpful massage skills. Thanks to Ryan, Cindy and everyone who worked so hard to make this weekend so fun for everyone......

Dogs, horses, goats, cats etc. are basically rear wheel drive animals...they push from behind to move forward. The muscles and ligaments create motion and stability as joints move in a coordinated manner....balance, speed, and stability are the results. The nervous system controls this coordinated system as the muscles contract or splint, the joints move and send information back to the central nervous system. So as the animals propels forward the spine is linked from tail to head the nerves send the brain all the information and then the animal compenates to seek balance, speed and stability. When injury, arthritic changes, poor nutrition, lack of proper exercise, etc. occur the normal balance and motion is compromised and often this leads to dysfunction, pain, injury etc.

Have your animals checked today by a certified animal chiropractor to see if the nervous system is functioning optimally .....
