The American Legion post 77 Ashland is looking for bartenders. If you are interested apply within and your contact will be Rich whom is the bar manager. Note - you do not have to be a member for this position.

There is also positions available for Junior Vice Commander and 1 position open on the board of directors. If you are interested in any of these positions apply within and speak with either John ( senior vice commander) or Arthur (commander). Note - you must be a member for either of these positions.

Part Time Positions Available at the American Legion.

The American Legion Post 77 of Ashland is looking for anyone who is interested in part time bar tending positions. Experience is preferred and there will be some training involved. You do not have to be a member so let your family and friends know. If you are interested in a part time gig please contact us here and we will put you in touch with the Hiring Manager. There is also the opportunity to work events at the Legion to earn extra cash. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank You!

Announcement:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This announcement is to inform you that the American Legion Post 77 has received a letter addressed to the Commander and to the President of the B.O.D. from Jeff Anderson .

The letter states as follows: Effective May 4, 2016 he has resigned from the Board of Directors, Senior Vice Commander and Legion Baseball liaison.

We are sad to see that Jeff has made this decision but are also happy that Jeff has decided to remain a member. We wish him well in all his future endeavors.

These position are now available. If anyone is interested in filling any of the positions that have now opened up you can contact us here or stop by the post to speak to the Commander or anyone on the Board of Directors.

Thank You Jeff Anderson for your service to the post. You will be missed.

Last nights acoustic event with C&J Acoustics was a complete success. We would like to thank everyone who came out and shared the laughs and the company of great friends and family.

There will be another event in 2 weeks with C&J Acoustics and we hope to continue this great way to ease into the weekend. If you have any photos or any comments that you would like to share feel free to do so here on our page. Lets make our event a great way to catch up with friends and enjoy some live entertainment in a comfortable and friendly environment.

This is being presented here on our page for those who are not members and would like to participate in the raffle. There are 3 great prizes that could be won. You can pick up your books at the post here in Ashland. All are welcome and we greatly appreciate your support here at the American Legion Post 77.

I just wanted to share what our boys in Scout Troop 2 did last night. Great Job!!!!

Troop 2 meeting with selectman tonight talking about eagle projects around town from starting to finished projects.
A project to start this summer a bench in front of Federated Church.
A project in works is stenciling run off drains to show where the run off might affect. You can see one in the parking lot of town hall.
Finish projects pinic table/benches and additional benches at Marathon park.
Trail markers at Warren Woods.

The American Legion Post 77 and Boy Scout Troop 2 will be hosting its annual Pancake Breakfast. Come on by on Saturday, March 5th (8am till 11am) for a great breakfast and silent auction. Support you local Boy Scout Troop as they will be working hard to host a breakfast that you are sure to enjoy. See poster below for details.
