One of the things we fail to realize in America is how developed we are to have drinking water at our disposal, right in our homes, offices and hotels. That's not the case in many Ghanaian rural areas. Access to drinking water is a challenge and we need your help this December 2023 - January 2024 to dig three boreholes. We have to dig them this time of year, which is the dry season so we can get the best access to the water table below the surface.

Our organization was founded in 2001 with the intentions to serve Black communities, both domestically and internationally.
We have helped hundreds of organizations in one capacity or another. We have led, co-led or assisted other communities, groups, and organizations by extending our tax exempt status to them.
We worked in Ghana from 2006-2014 and then restarted our work in 2019. We were there to provide medical supplies in backpacks when Haiti was devastated in 2010. Our feet are on the ground in Ghana helping youth, young adults and communities.
We are committed is to connecting African Americans to the Diaspora through words, actions and deeds. Follow us to see what we're up to.

The Methodist Girls' Senior High School (MEGHIS) is a Ghanaian girls' second-cycle institution at Mamfe, in the Akuapim North District of the Eastern Region.
The school is popularly known for its achievements as winners of the 2019 World ROBOFEST competition held at Michigan in the USA and defending the title in 2020. They are constant winners of the Best Cadet Corps during Independence Day celebrations in the Akwapim North Municipality for many years now.
HBCPG, in partnership with Corporate Kicks, Incorporated donated a set of drums to the cadet group per their request to assist the group during events within and outside. This is to give them unique exposure through their performances, which helps to keep the cadet group and the entire school soaring higher.
However, our friends at MEGHIS need our help with anti-Malaria medicines, which will help prevent them from being attacked due to the widespread of mosquitoes that are sometimes in the area. Also, our girls made a request of shoes to keep them appropriately dressed for class and prevent any discrimination and low confidence when among their peers. Many of us as adults know that school is a job for students and that they should be dressed appropriately when in attendance.
With the everyday challenges girls in education face mostly caused by poverty, cultural norms and practices, among others, our MEGHIS young girls are making every effort to go through and acquire knowledge and skills for a future. These young girls of the Methodist Girls' High School are counting on our support and donation to enable them to stand an equal chance of being empowered as women. Not often do we take time to thank those who work hard behind the scenes to make things work and keep the glue of all parts together. HBC Promised Ghana, LBG’s President/CEO met Francis Osei Sarpong in February 2019 and was impressed with his level of detail when it came to work ethics. During Evans’ Coronation in becoming Nana Kwame Sam I, Sanaahene, Obaatan Division (Nkusukum) in May 2019, guess who was right there to assist in every step of the journey - Mr. Francis Osei Sarpong.
Sarpong holds a Bachelors of Art in Journalism, Masters of Art in Public Relations, as well as a Diploma in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Evans named Sarpong the Ghana Country Director in May 2019 and he has maintained that role ever since, having assisted with USA projects spearheaded by Evans as well (i.e., mojaevans Consulting, LLC; Beyond The Return Ghana; and Healthy Black Communities, Inc.). One of Sarpong’s key responsibilities is to maintain a stable relationship with all iPromisedGhana beneficiaries for donations received from African Americans and others in the USA.
iPromisedGhana (iPG) is a Healthy Black Communities, Inc. (USA) Ghana, West Africa community development initiative that works to assist in improving quality of life for youth and young adults. There are currently eight (8) active projects under this initiative, inclusive of both schools and communities that HBC is actively seeking donations and support for.
HBCPG wants to publicly thank and recognize the hard work of our Ghana Country Director. We are asking all those who know him or would like to join us in this recognition to please leave a comment or note to HBCPG’s champion on this post.
