🍎 L’Shana Tova!
From a group of Intown families:
After the recent news of the 6 hostages, including Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a few fold have reached out, feeling a similar feeling. They find themselves feeling helpless and looking for a way to not only grieve together as a community, but to also honor these lives, their families, and pray for the safe return of all the hostages.
Avra Wacks, was inspired by Shai Davidai's IG post, to urge Jewish communities to come together and hold memorials across the country and pushed us to set this up. We’re happy to come together to celebrate joyous occasions and holidays but also for times of sorrow like today.
We'll say Mourner's Kaddish, sing some songs and light candles for the hostages. Please feel free to bring candles and all ages are welcome. Details attached and please feel free to share it. We'll hold the memorial tonight (Sept. 2nd @ 5:30pm) in Candler Park at the gazebo at the pin below.

Portal to Infinity - To Activate the Magic, You’ve Got to Follow the Recipe. Well, actually, the answer is yes: deviating from the recipe will not bake the cake!

It is so helpful to have a community of like-minded individuals who want to celebrate and learn Judaism together in the face of adversity and antisemitism. Be it First Fridays, Shavuot learning, the White Party, and more, I’m fortunate to have met some of my closest friends in Atlanta through YJP. - David Kulp

“Live Free or Die” Is What G-d Wants
The Watershed Moment When Truly Choosing G-d Was Born.
It would seem that it’s a binary choice: doing what I want, or doing what G-d wants. But G-d’s ambivalent reply to the Jew’s request to send spies teaches us that if we work hard enough, we can get the best of both worlds.
