We have a passion for storytelling, and our readers help read a variety of unique scripts to help determine the winners of AFF’s Script Competitions.

If you’re a writer yourself hoping to sharpen your skills, or anyone with a love for storytelling, reading with us could be the perfect opportunity.

The ideal candidate is a voracious reader who is well-versed in the basics of screenwriting and has a keen sense for analyzing a story.

At AFF, storytelling is our focus! If you are a writer or reader with an eye for strong storytelling and quality, you’re a perfect fit! After all, the best way to write screenplays is to read screenplays.

Katy Morecraft began her career in 2015 in Louisiana, working as a seamstress on the TV show “Salem.” However, when tax credits were withdrawn from Louisiana, Katy decided to move to Atlanta, a growing hub for the industry. Her determination and relentless pursuit of opportunities led her to a pivotal role as a Set Production Assistant on “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors.”

· Dinner will be available at 6:45 PM.

· Training will begin at 7:00 PM (for phone and computer system for in-taking donations) and we will be in the studio at 7:00 PM for live production.

· Location: GPB Studios at 260 14th Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30039 (directions attached)

· Parking is Free. Park on the 2nd, 5th or 6th floor of the parking deck.

· Volunteer Participation Includes: In the GPB TV studio at the phone bank taking calls from members, viewers, and listeners.
