Thanks to your kind donations, we are able to feed & teach over 100 men every month at The Mens Atlanta Recovery Center. Last week after the word was given, the men pointed this young man out in the crowd and raved about his gift to sing, play, and write music. So of course we asked him to show us a little something. Lol Then this happened…. This is why Outreach is sooo important to ministry! Another young man heard him play, went in the corner and cried. Later that evening that young man gave his life to Christ. How long should I walk with someone I love who has a jealous heart towards me? Walking away vs remaining faithful to them ! Take away: You really can’t appease a jealous person. Nothing you do, say, or give them will extinguish their envy or jealousy. Only God can remove that if they are willing to work through their insecurities!

The Conversation Atl On Thursday we discussed “The God vs A god” and how idols affect our authority. In the Old Testament it was A golden calf or a statue, today false gods can be the love of money, things, a relationship, even social media. Anything pulling you away from time with God. We were all made in God’s image. What does your image reflect? God or the world? Your spiritual authority will only be as strong as the image of the one you reflect.

We served the men of Atlanta Recovery this month and this time we were INSIDE!! It felt so good to be back inside serving these great men!! Every fourth Thursday we will get the opportunity to share the gospel, feed their bodies, and hear their stories. Thank you to everyone who continues to sow into this ministry. We’re especially thankful to who has prepared the food each month for the past five years.
