Due to a situation out of our control, the administration and board members of Birdsong Association of Broadcasting & Arts, Inc. (BABA) made the difficult decision to cancel the 2023 2nd Annual Mentors of Performing Arts & Broadcasters Virtual Conference, which was scheduled from Thursday, October 19th to Saturday, October 21st, 2023 and Thursday, October 26th to Saturday, October 28th, 2023 as a virtual event featuring noted professionals in the entertainment industry and media broadcasting in various fields as a tool to reach today's African American youth throughout the United States to pursue these careers. The 2022 1st Annual Mentors of Performing Arts & Broadcasters Virtual Conference presented by Birdsong Association of Broadcasting & Arts, Inc. (BABA) on Thursday, October 13th to Saturday, October 15th, 2022 and again on Thursday, October 20th to Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 was truly a blessing and success. The total views for this informative virtual conference has gained more than 2,000 and counting. In the next two weeks, the videos of the discussions for this conference will be uploaded and posted on the official YouTube channel of Birdsong Association of Broadcasting & Arts. In the upcoming weeks, the administration and board members of this organization will have a meeting to begin the planning strategy for the 2023 2nd Annual Mentors of Performing Arts & Broadcasters Virtual Conference along with other business related affairs. Birdsong, Jr., a gospel music industry professional and national published author, the organization will guide today’s youth to become successful artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, record label executives, actors and actresses, playwriters, educators, media personalities and entrepreneurs.
A strong influence in the gospel music industry and entertainment arena at large, Mr. Birdsong will bring his leadership and experience to this organization for African American youth so they can become voices for future generations. There are plans for a second operation in Los Angeles, CA. The administration consists of the President, Secretary and ten board members. Our board members are professionals in the gospel and secular music industry, the entertainment arena, media broadcasting, education, religious affairs, corporate spectrum and community advocacy.
