AKUL MEZCAL
• hails from the Sacrificio distillery located in Tlacolula
• the agaves used are grown in their own lands of the Oaxaca Valley which draw a host of pollinating animals
•production patiently respects Oaxaca’s mezcal tradition
• Joven: twice distilled, balanced aroma of cooked agave and herbs
•Cirial: 10-12 years agave maturity, subtle hints of pineapple and orange
• Espadín Tepeztate: contains the most traditional agave with an aroma of fruit and cocoa flower
• Madrecuishe: 3 varieties of wild agave, noticeable sweetness and light acidity from green apples and passion fruit in taste

Tequila on a Thursday?! Why not! Introducing a new addition to our bar… Cazcanes! The name is derived from the Cazcanes natives, the last indigenous people of Mexico to be conquered by the Spaniards and their recipe is based upon a 300 year old indigenous recipe. It is completely additive free with their only ingredients being agave and water, from the deep underground springs beneath ancient native Cazcanes lands.

We currently have two No. 7 varietals.
Blanco: smooth, clean and crisp taste with anise, sweet agave and black pepper notes
Reposado: clean, sweet and extremely smooth tastes with notes of sweet agave, caramel and vanilla (amongst others)

A michelada…but the Minero Atlanta way! A nice cold glass of Negra Modelo Michelada with a home made chamoy and candied benne seed rim!! ✨😋

Yesterday was the first day of spring but today feels more like it. Introducing a new addition to our cocktail menu… El Volcán, made with BanhezMezcal, dry vermouth and Nixta licor de lote!

Fun fact: Nixta is a corn liqueur made from an ancestral corn grown in the valleys of the Nevado de Toluca volcano! It is produced at the Destilería y Bodega Abasolo, where they honor the ancestral craft of nixtamilization, the same process we use to aid in making our hand made tortillas! 🌋🌽
