Since our founding in 1938, we have continued our tradition of honoring the great players, coaches, and officials in game of football in Atlanta and throughout the nation. We recognize one Back, one Lineman, and one Coach for

their outstanding performances on the field of play each week during the regular season. We hold regular meetings each fall to present these outstanding coaches and young men with the prestigious Touchdown Club of Atlanta Award. During these meetings, we get an opportunity to meet these honored players, guests, and their families. After the presentation of Awards, we feature an esteemed guest speaker who will share their stories about the game of football and life. At our year end Awards Banquet, we will also honor the best players around the Metro Atlanta area with our Metro Atlanta All-Star Team, the Georgia High School Coaches of the Year in each classification, winners of the prestigious Corky Kell Award for coaches who have amassed 200 or more victories in their careers, and the coveted Bobby Dodd National High School Players of the Year – awarded to the best Back and Lineman in the Nation. In addition to recognizing outstanding performances on the grid iron in the state of Georgia and throughout the nation, we support players and student managers in the Metro Atlanta area by awarded scholarships to deserving candidates. The Wh**ey Zimmerman Student Manager Scholarship and the George Morris Student Athlete Scholarships are awarded and presented at our annual Scholarship Banquet. There you will find 5 star recruits, your favorite college’s legends, Heisman Trophy winners, Super Bowl MVPs, leaders in politics and business, and many local legends.
