The Advisor for this school club is also a member of the Valley Kiwanis. This dynamic duo are amazing members serving these students and our community. Yolanda Trout-Manuel is a winner. As a Auburn Council Member and member of our Kiwanis club, she won her recent re-election to a third term on the city council. With her left over campaign funds, she wanted to put those funds to good use for Kids in Auburn. She handed over a check for $500.00 to President Kelly Jenson for our Spring fund raiser to support Domestic violence. She also donated $274.00 to our club sponsored Career and Technical Education (CTE) program in our high schools. And finally, she donated $500.00 to the Auburn Public School Foundation. We are so proud to have her in our club and you can see why she is a WINNER.
In it to "WIN it", but it's for the needy kids at Children's Home Society. This is a Division PJ contest. We are also collecting old eye glasses for our AKTION CLUB. A great way to start our service new year. At our once a month evening social and education meeting.

It's the giving and making a difference season.
