We sent our Executive Director on to new challenges with a little celebration this afternoon! She finally has a T- shirt that ironically makes her smile. A fun last hurrah! The featured quote will be spoken with laughter whenever we find ourselves organizing and distributing T- shirts! Best wishes Natasha! APSF will miss you AND we are excited for you! Keep us posted!

Natasha has accepted a new position and while we are grateful for her six years of APSF leadership, we are also excited for her next adventure! Please join us on Thursday to help celebrate her work with APSF and her contributions to the Auburn Community!

We LOVE Bombas - and are so excited for this donation of 3,600 shirts and underwear for students that need them!

We are so appreciative of this partnership to meet student needs each year. Since it started in 2018, we have received more than 60,000 pairs of socks for students (and been able to share some with the The Auburn Food Bank for families). Adding shirts and underwear to their giving priorities helps us meet so many needs in the Auburn School District #408 through our Pantry Project program.

February 13 is election day! The Educational Programs & Operations levy would replace the expiring levy and is 14% of the ASD budget. The levy funds ALL athletics & activities, special education, positions underfunded by the state, maintenance, transportation and more. PLEASE VOTE!

We are making our way around the district to surprise teachers with grants!

This year, the APSF is thrilled to announce $86,000 in funding to 93 Auburn School District #408 classrooms, funding anything from field trips to core boards, multicultural books to social emotional literacy.

We have a BUSY week next week with 12 schools on our schedule to swing by! Where do you think we’ll be heading next?

Once again, ASD 4th graders MAKE MUSIC with Auburn Symphony Orchestra! APSF funded the transportation expenses for this year’s “Link UP: The Orchestra Moves.” We always enjoy seeing the images and hearing about the impact of this collaboration!

Without the help of our committed supporters, the work of APSF would not be possible. We are grateful for the recent donation of $5,000 from the Renton Regional Community Foundation and the Care Together Fund! These funds go directly to our Pantry Project, which assists Auburn students with basic needs. We appreciate their partnership and thoughtful generosity!

Last week was such a wonderful time! Our 2 packet pickup events had about half of the participants excited to grab their bibs, t-shirts, and sponsor swag early.

In total we had nearly 600 participants this year, with an amazing donut after-party! For those who missed it, here are the top 3 schools with the most participants (along with the grants they are receiving).

1. Pioneer Elementary - $500 grant.
2. Illako Elementary - $250 grant.
3. Bowman Creek Elementary - $250 grant.

‘Tis the season to be jolly! Auburn's Lighted Santa Parade & Tree Lighting Event is fun for the whole family! Sign up to participate in the parade on Saturday, December 2nd! Families, non-profits, business, school groups, and other organizations are welcome to participate in the parade! The parade runs from Auburn High School and ends at City Hall.
