We’re excited to share that we recently received a $1,500 grant from our local Walmart Supercenter in Auburn to help with providing much needed to those in our community. If you would like to donate to us head over to www.theauburnfoodbank.org/donate

You are not going believe this until you see it! Lakeland Hills students, staff and community helped us collect 1,500 boxes of cereal (or goal was 1,200 boxes) so we could watch the cereal boxes fall like dominoes, but more importantly to collect as much food for the Food Bank as possible. It added some extra fun to our food drive this year! Seriously, check it out...

It's that time of year! Today kicks off the annual all-school food drive to support the The Auburn Food Bank. All schools are gathering food and monetary donations between now and March 23 to support this important community partner.

This Christmas card rose to the top of the pile on my desk today. It is a Christmas card I’m going to save for a very long time. This young man “gets it.” He understands “giving!” He thanked us for the opportunity! As he was unloading the trunk of his father’s car, he said: “this is the best Christmas I’ve ever had.” This young man gave of himself to help others.…

URGENT ‼️ We are calling all within the Auburn community… we need you more now than EVER! With our impending move and the expenses that come along with it, we are very much at risk of not being able to hold our Holiday Dinner-Basket giveaway for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Here are just a couple examples of the quantities we serve. The actual list is enormous! Please consider adding a frozen turkey to your next shopping trip and dropping it by or give just $25 and provide a Holiday meal for a family in need!

Comparing July 2022 to July 2023 - just for that month - our households served is up 552 households. Many need your help! We are here to make sure what you give - goes to those you work with, play with, sit beside at events....or might be your parents, your son, daughter, aunt or uncle! You may never know the name or the face --- but we are here to make sure they are taken care of.
