MEET LEA COMTE:
Lea Comte is a dancer and educator currently working at Headwaters School in Austin Texas, where she supports teachers, parents, and students ranging in age from eighteen months to six years old. Lea has been elected to multiple positions in the Texas Chapter of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). And in 2018, as the chapter’s Government Affairs Chair, Lea was invited by the ADTA to advocate for dance therapy during the National Arts Action Summit in Washington D.C. Lea has a very captivating idea to share with you about dance/ movement as therapy. Might want to stretch before this one!! 🧘🏾♀️🤸🏽👯♀️

MEET MEG BONACORSI:
Meg Bonacorsi is a Pennsylvania native and Cal Poly graduate who began her career in 2006 as a reporter. Fast forward to today, Meg is the evening anchor for Spectrum News Austin. Although she is an Emmy-winning anchor, she finds inspiration in her work by helping others, some of which has done in her former series, “Giving Back”, where she covered local stories that motivated action in the community.
We are immensely grateful for Meg’s commitment to be our host for the first ever event, and you will not want to miss her presence on the 2020 stage.

Mike is a team leader at Alpha, an innovative, independent school that uses adaptive learning software in place of direct instruction, and one of the Founders of Guide, a life skills training platform for high school students. Mike has an incredibly informative idea to share about changing U.S. school systems. You won’t want to miss it!

MEET JOY LIN:
Joy Lin is a math/science teacher, named "Innovator of the Year" in 2014 with an animated series “If Superpowers Were Real” on TEDed that received international media attention. She is also a stand-up comedian, an author with 4 books published in 4 continents, and a screenwriter/filmmaker with dozens of awards from domestic and international film festivals. Joy Lin is the host of her own science/pop-culture comic con panels all over United States, and she has an extremely relevant idea to share with you about teaching kids scientific mistakes!

MEET KAITLIN MAUD:
Kaitlin is a visual artist, strategist, mother, and founder of Current Forward, a strategy consultancy based in Austin, TX. She is a 2013 TEDx vet who brought “digital anthropology” to the forefront of current discourse around technology, AND in 2018, she published the DIY Strategy Workbook to make strategy processes more accessible to small businesses and independent creative professionals. She has a profound idea to share with you about trends and what they really tell us about society.

Much of her work has focused on raising awareness of pelvic floor dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain, and she has a powerful idea to share with you about the way Americans view virginity.🌷

Dr. Lewis-Peacock is a Cognitive Neuroscientist currently appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin.
