A 20 acre park like ground nestled in the middle of downtown. In 1995/1996 the historical south grounds were restored to the park like setting.
Twenty five different trees species including 300/400 year old oaks can be found on the ground. Many are familiar with the red tailed hawk pair , often seen perching on the goddess's down and star. A lesser known fact is that a variety of birds stop over during spring and fall migration. Raccoons, possums, fox, and squirrels also live on the grounds.
