Panama-Buena Vista Union School District The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District takes pride in our motto, "Excellence in Education." With 26 school sites, we are dedicated to the success of our community.

We are excited to partner with Walmart to host a school supply drive benefiting students at the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District.

School supplies may be purchased and dropped off at a P-BVUSD school bus at two of our local Walmart locations from July 17- 19, 7:30 - 1:30.

Do you have an incoming TK or Kindergartener? Join us July 11th at Stonecreek Junior High school from 8:30-10:30 a.m. for our welcome event! We will be showing families who are new to the district all the resources available to them!

PLUS! The first 500 TK/K students to arrive will receive a drawstring backpack with supplies!

At our Family Engagement Art Night with local artist Erick Rodriguez, students learned painting techniques through art instruction and left with a painting created with their families. Families also received an admissions voucher to the Bakersfield Museum of Art. Details for our next Family Engagement will be posted on ParentSquare next week. Stay tuned!

Thank you to Strong for teaching our P-BVUSD families about financial literacy! Students received a book from the Kern Literacy Council, learned how to count and use their money, and received information on how to open a savings account. We hope to see you at our next Family Engagement Night!

Happy 60th anniversary to Seibert Elementary! Their celebration yesterday commemorated the school's long history of serving our community. Join us in thanking the past and present Seibert staff. Go Raiders!

We’d like to thank the Bakersfield Police Department and First 5 Kern for partnering with us to host our First P-BV Family Engagement Night! Families participated in the McGruff Puppet Program to introduce young children (TK- 2nd grade) to law enforcement and teach them about safety and basic crime prevention tools. Upon arrival, families with students ages 5 and under received a bag from First 5 Kern that included a children's book, parent guide, community resources, and more.
