Running a nonprofit is not for the weak 🙌🏽🙏🏽 Some days are better than others, and I always have to remind people that Unfailing Love Outreach Services, Inc. runs solely off of donations. We are a charity‼️‼️We wish we could help everyone, but our ability to do so depends on the support we receive. Though we may not always have everything to give, we are dedicated to connecting our clients and community to meaningful resources.

That’s why we’re always building relationships—to share them with those who need it most.

Lately, I’ve noticed that people often want to take but don’t want to give back. There are so many ways to support our mission beyond financial donations. We can evolve, our communities can grow, but only if we come together and help each other. I always try to give everyone a chance, but when I see that someone is self-centered and in it for the wrong reasons, I will respectfully remove myself.

My family and I have been serving our communities since childhood. This is my family’s legacy, and I don’t play when it comes to what’s connected to me. If it doesn’t align with my mission or Christian principles, it’s not for me.

We believe that every girl and woman deserves to feel unashamed and dignified when it comes to their period care. Unfortunately, many lack access to essential period products, affecting their health, education, and confidence.

Separation is Not Desertion – It’s Essential for Growth

On this journey called life, we sometimes face seasons of separation. But don’t confuse separation with desertion. Separation is not only needed, it’s essential. It provides the space we need for self-reflection, a moment to pause and evaluate our choices, and realign ourselves with our true purpose.

Even Jesus took time to separate Himself to seek solitude and connect with God. In Mark 1:35, it says, “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” That separation wasn’t abandonment; it was necessary for His mission.

When you feel pulled away, remember: God is calling you closer to Him, closer to understanding, and closer to yourself. Separation is a part of healing, a part of mental clarity, and a part of spiritual growth.

As we acknowledge National Mental Health Awareness Day, let’s embrace the importance of mental wellness. Take time for yourself, reflect, and let God guide you through seasons of separation so you can emerge stronger.

Grateful for Fellowship 🙏🏾

We are so thankful to God for the fellowship we were able to have with the families who came out tonight! It was an absolute joy to come together for ULOS’ first Community Snack & Paint Event. A huge thank you to for hosting this beautiful experience!

The atmosphere was filled with love, laughter, and a real sense of community. We had the chance to learn more about the kids—their favorite foods, hobbies, and dream vacation spots. Only my 4-year-old would holler out that her dream vacation is Park Heights! 😂😂 And to top it off, I didn’t even realize she had so many best friends until tonight! 😆😆

This event was intimate, heartwarming, and truly a success. 💛 Looking forward to more moments like this.

Why Christians Should Be Cautious of Yoga ⚠️⚠️⚠️

As followers of Christ, we are called to live in accordance with the teachings of the Bible, remaining faithful to God in all aspects of life. While yoga may seem like a harmless exercise or relaxation technique, it is essential to understand its roots and the spiritual practices associated with it.

Yoga originates from Hinduism and is deeply rooted in Eastern religious philosophies. The physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques, and meditative practices of yoga are designed to prepare individuals for spiritual awakening and union with the divine as understood by those faiths. The aim of traditional yoga is not merely physical fitness, but a spiritual journey involving the worship of multiple deities and the pursuit of self-realization, which contradicts the Christian belief that salvation and true peace come only through Jesus Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 10:20, Paul warns us, “I do not want you to be participants with demons,” encouraging Christians to avoid practices that align with other religious beliefs or worship of false gods. While some might argue that yoga can be “Christianized” by focusing solely on the physical aspect, the practice still opens the door to spiritual influences that are incompatible with our faith. Instead, Christians are encouraged to engage in spiritual practices that draw us closer to God, such as prayer, worship, and meditating on His Word.

Romans 12:2 reminds us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” As believers, we must be mindful of the spiritual practices we engage in, ensuring they align with biblical truth.

Instead of yoga, consider alternative forms of physical activity or stretching that honor God and allow us to focus on our health without compromising our faith.

This approach helps to explain why many Christians may choose to avoid yoga while offering alternatives that align with biblical values.

When we meditate on the Word of God, we align our hearts and minds with His truth. His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us toward righteousness, peace, and spiritual growth. Meditating on God’s promises strengthens our faith, renews our spirit, and draws us closer to His presence.

However, we must be cautious. Meditating on anything other than the Word of God, no matter how harmless or beneficial it may seem, opens the door to evil practices. These deceptive distractions may appear good to the eye, but they lead us away from God’s truth and into dangerous spiritual territory. Let us focus our hearts on God’s Word alone, for in Him we find true life and wisdom. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

It’s no secret that many communities are plagued by high crime rates, but we must take a deeper look at the root causes. Poverty, limited access to quality education, a lack of affordable healthcare, underemployment, and a shortage of affordable housing are the true drivers of this crisis. When families struggle to meet their basic needs—whether it be access to food, education, or healthcare—their challenges often manifest in desperation, leading to higher crime rates.

At Unfailing Love Outreach Services, Inc., we see firsthand the impact of food insecurity, homelessness, and lack of resources on vulnerable families. Many are working hard, yet unable to make ends meet. This isn’t just a community issue—it’s a call to action for all of us.

We are asking for the support of our community, local government officials, and local businesses to help ensure we can continue providing meaningful services to families in need. 🏡We are only accepting applicants with an eviction notice this month.

🏡Please provide your lease and a fully completed application to be considered.

🏡We cannot help everyone. We are a small nonprofit and funds are limited! If we don’t select you, you will be given ampul resources to assist you, as well as a member from our team will assist you with communicating with these resources! Please also subscribed to our Linktree as we have great opportunities and resources that can support you and build our community!
