Here's our social event and meal calendar for the rest of June! Be sure to save it so you can plan your next visit to the Clubhouse!
Discover How Our Members Are Breaking Barriers! 🚀
At B'More Clubhouse, members don't just navigate challenges--they conquer them! Today, we're excited to share how the Clubhouse's support is helping Eric unlock new opportunities.
As a right of membership, B'More Clubhouse members can receive support with navigating and accessing community resources. Today, that looks like Jason giving Eric a ride to the MTA Mobility office to complete an eligibility interview. Having access to Mobility transit services decreases some transportation barriers, allowing Eric to come to the Clubhouse more often and commute to his future job.
We had Bingo & Brunch this past weekend! The vibe was happy and energetic and everybody had a good time. Everyone won Bingo at least once, but Crystal prevailed as the again with 4 wins! It may be a game of chance, but Crystal has some serious Bingo skills 😎
We have brunch at the Clubhouse every 2nd Saturday of the month, be sure to stop by between 10 AM-2 PM on July 13th for the next one!
Springtime brings new blooms! We planted radishes, zinnias, and sunflowers, and look forward to seeing them grow. Inside, we have many plants to care for in order to keep our space beautiful! We've hosted planters and bonsai workshops at the Clubhouse. We're a community full of green thumbs, and we always welcome more help!
Mock Interviews are just over 1 week away, don't forget to sign up! Walk-in's are always welcome too 😁
If you want custom questions, please remember to sign up by the end of the day tomorrow (6/11/24) so we have time to write questions for you! The sooner the better 😉
Check this out! Every Friday afternoon after the 1 o'clock meeting, 1st floor units (Culinary & Membership) get down! Dancing is a great way to get your heart pumping and motivates us to finish the work week on a high note. What's YOUR favorite kind of music to dance to?
Last call for Clubhouse Giving Day!
We are $3,000 away from hitting our goal of raising $10,000 this year and the giving portal closes today.

Thank you so much for your support and have a great weekend.
Support B'More Clubhouse | Clubhouse Giving Day 2024 I’m ready to support B'More Clubhouse on June 4, 2024 during Clubhouse Giving Day 2024. Learn more about B'More Clubhouse and all the other organizations participating in Clubhouse Giving Day 2024.
Happy Pride Month! We at B'More Clubhouse are having a Pride Bingo Brunch tomorrow 10 AM - 2 PM. We'll have mystery prizes!
Back on April 20th, Young Adult Committee (YAC) went to White Marsh Mall to hang out. Michelle said, "it was a real workout" walking around the mall for about 3 hours. CC added, "it was fun!" After walking around and doing a little shopping, everyone ate lunch together at the food court.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, young adult members get together for some kind of social activity. Sometimes we do bowling, other times we go to the movies, and this month we'll be going to the Pride Parade on 6/15.
Recovery and working on mental wellness can be challenging and exhausting. So B'More strives to give young adults the opportunity to take a break every now and then to just be together, build relationships, and make happy memories.
If you're interested in attending a future YAC social event, you can message us for more details or, better yet, come to the Clubhouse to learn more about it from other young adults! YAC meets to plan these events every other week (on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 11 AM).
What other social events should YAC do this year??
Are you a job seeker? Do you want to improve your interviewing skills, and public speaking? Then you should come to B’More Clubhouse’s Mock Interview! We will be hosting the mock interviews June 18th from 10am-12pm upstairs in the new BizCom unit! Colleagues who participate have shared that mock interviews boost their confidence, allow them to gain skills, and prepare for job interviews whenever they are ready.
If you are interested in being interviewed for a specific position please let us know by June 11th, so we can make you a set of custom interview questions. You will also receive a job description and feedback on your interview to help you grow!
Tie-Dye: because blending in is overrated! Join us tomorrow for tie-dye night to make accessories for Pride! We're getting hats, bandanas, socks, and scrunchies, and you're welcome to give a creative splash to accessories or clothes you already own! See you there!
There's still time to give, it's not too late! Josh and Kenna, the "popcorn twins" are back at it today to support the cause of Clubhouse Giving Day. We're giving out free SnoBalls and popcorn to passersby to start conversations about B'More Clubhouse and ask for contributions.

We have one more video testimonial from Michelle. She's been a member of B'More Clubhouse for several years and currently sits on our board of directors. Listen to what she has to say about Clubhouse Giving Day!
The 15th Anniversary Celebration was out of this world! There was so much food, plenty of games, lots of happy socializing. But the most memorable part of the day was the dunk tank, hands down. We'll be posting more pictures and videos from the party over the next month, but for your viewing pleasure, enjoy this slow-mo video of Jason getting dunked! 🌊
is just around the corner, happening tomorrow, June 4th!
This year is extra special as we celebrated 15 incredible years of empowering adults living with mental illness at B'More Clubhouse. Over the years, we've seen countless stories of resilience, growth, and transformation. To highlight these journeys, we will be sharing testimonial videos from our members, showcasing how your support has made a real difference in their lives.
Our goal for this year’s Clubhouse Giving Day is to raise $10,000. With your help, we can continue to provide the resources and support our members need to lead meaningful and productive lives.
Can you help us kickstart our campaign by making a donation today? The pre-giving window is open! Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and makes a lasting impact.

The wait is almost over! Tomorrow will be the most exciting time, the greatest party ever! Copper Kitchen is generously helping to cater the event, game rentals are arriving today and tomorrow, and the Clubhouse is buzzing with prep activities. You won't want to miss your opportunity to dunk Jason in the dunk tank 😉
See you there!
We’re counting down the days to the fourth annual which will take place on June 4th.
Each year we use this occasion to raise awareness and resources for the work that we are doing at B'More Clubhouse to empower adults living with mental illness to lead meaningful and productive lives of their choice in the community. But this year is extra special for us, because we are also celebrating our 15 year anniversary!
Our goal for Clubhouse Giving Day this year is to raise $10,000. Can you help us get a head start by making a contribution today? The pre-giving window is now open here - https://www.clubhousegivingday.org/organizations/bmoreclubhouse
Thank you for your support!
B'More Clubhouse had a cookout for Memorial Day yesterday! We had burgers, hot dogs, and Mairi brought birthday cake to share for their birthday. Champions of the day, Harold & Richard, even braved the pouring rain to grill all of the tasty food!
But in the B'More way, it was so much more than JUST a cookout! Members and staff also created posters to promote our HUGE 15th Anniversary Celebration this Friday 5/31. We also listened to music, watched Black Panther, and had a good, chill time.
Update: We got tons of pictures! Thank you :)
Woah.
If you're free on Saturday, join us for some outdoor fun at Rash Field! We're bringing Giant Jenga and Spikeball to play, and Rash Field has an awesome adult-size playground! We'll be out there from 10 AM - 2 PM. Bring your own snacks!
(If it rains, we'll meet at 3 Bean Coffee on Key Highway, just behind Rash Field)
Raymond and Francesca are stoked for DnD Game Night, tomorrow at the Clubhouse from 4-6pm! Hosted by our amazing colleague, Nico, there will be dragons, dice, and an unforgettable quest! (plus cheese and crackers, yum) All are invited!
Our Clubhouse colleague, Lori (Mish) Megow, is a finalist on Favorite Chef, a national cooking competition! The winner of the contest will be featured on the cover of Taste of Home magazine and will receive a $25,000 prize!
Mish is a frequent "Guest Chef" in our culinary unit; not only has she utilized her love of cooking to create amazing meals- she has inspired her Clubhouse colleagues to build their own skills and confidence in the kitchen! Clubhouse colleagues have shared that they never would have stepped foot into the kitchen if not for Mish!
Please help us lift up our beloved colleague by casting your vote for her in this contest. Mish is currently in 2nd place!
If she wins, Mish plans to utilize her winnings to buy much needed supplies for our Clubhouse kitchen.
Is Lori Megow your Favorite Chef? One chef will win $25k, an advertorial feature in Taste of Home, and a cooking experience with Carla hall.
