My mother made this lamp in my hometown of Nixa, MO, nearly 35 years ago. Today, I found it in a thrift store in Baltimore! Mom knew I needed her, so she found a way to say hey!

My mother worked for a small company that made these lamps. She definitely had her hands on it at some point in the process. I did a lot of inventory, so it's possible I even touched it!

The company was called Inman Enterprises, and they sold products in major department stores all over America for about 10 years. Now, like Easter eggs, they find me when I need them. This is the third one I've found since she passed.

Inman's holds an even deeper place in my heart. With this job came a newfound stability that allowed my mother to get clean. The owners valued family, and the gift they gave me and mom has always stayed with me. It even guides me as I continue to grow my own business.

As many know, Mrs. Tamara has been in the city with her Spanish programs. We are so proud of her hard work to bring quality Spanish programming to city families. At this time, Mrs. Tamara will be stepping back from her work with Sprocket to focus on her work throughout the city. We wish her all the best and will continue to keep you all posted on her programming.

This does leave a gap in our staffing. We will be looking for a part-time employee to cover some morning shifts. This is a great position for a stay-at-home parent who wants to bring their child to work with them. If you are interested in more details, please get in touch with Mr. Cork at [email protected].
