SCTE Chesapeake Chapter hosted a OTDR training session yesterday at Metro Dr. Thanks to our partners at VIAVI Solutions & EXFO



We had a group of 30 to review their respective OTDR's functionality, install software upgrades and learn new techniques and upcoming technology.

Photo Contest:

Hope everyone is geared up for the Holiday's and ready to kick in the New Year? I know this time of year most can be stressed out with EOY goals or the holidays them self, so the chapter would like to host a Contest to help with some of the holiday struggles....

If you find yourself in a mess (ISP/OSP) and you take pride in the work you do this is your time to shine.....

We would like to see a before and after picture of work cleaned up, being a ped audit, headend wreakout, noise surpression, ect. At the end before the EOY the chapter will announce a winner and send you a prize.

Some rules: please be mindful of your companies and not share anything not allowed. Also be respectful to our customers and not include personal items in the photo(people/property).
