Thrive Academy Community,
As we embark on another successful school year, I’m excited to share an exclusive opportunity for your friends, family members, or acquaintances who may be searching for an exceptional educational environment for their children.
Thrive Academy has a few limited slots available for the 2024-25 school year, and as a current Thrive family, you are being given the first preference to refer potential students. We are hosting a special virtual open house to showcase what makes Thrive Academy a state-sponsored boarding school unlike any other in Louisiana on Thursday September 5th at 7:00pm via zoom.
Our school’s accomplishments speak to our commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of our students:
In 2020, Thrive Academy was recognized by the Louisiana Board of Regents for our significant achievement in graduating a high percentage of minority students with college credit.
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Thrive Academy was among the top 25% of schools to demonstrate performance score growth, a reflection of our resilience and dedication.
In 2022, Thrive Academy was designated as one of 41 Louisiana Comeback Campuses by the Louisiana Department of Education and finished 5th out of over 1,300 Louisiana schools for LEAP test score growth.
Our academic excellence continued in 2023 when Thrive students outscored the Louisiana state average in 7th grade Math, 8th grade ELA, Social Studies, Math, Algebra, Geometry, and U.S. History.
In 2024, our students again outperformed the state averages in 7th and 8th grade ELA, 7th and 8th grade Science, ELA 1, ELA 2, Geometry, and Biology.
In 2024 Thrive Academy was named one of the top ten schools in the thirteen-parish Metropolitan Baton Rouge region in the “Overcoming the Odds” category, a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.
Our unique 5-day-a-week boarding model at Thrive Academy prepares students for life after high school by immersing them in a structured environment that fosters academic growth, independence, and exposure to the arts and a wide array of extracurricular activities.
If you know of any families who would benefit from the exceptional education offered at Thrive Academy, we invite you to refer them to our upcoming virtual open house. This is a wonderful chance for them to learn about our programs, meet our dedicated staff, and see firsthand how we are helping students thrive both academically and personally.
We value the trust you have placed in us to educate your child, and we believe that your referrals will bring more bright, motivated students into our community. Please share this opportunity with anyone who might be interested.
Thank you for being a part of the Thrive Academy family, and for helping us continue to grow and excel. We look forward to another amazing year together.
Email [email protected] if you would like to refer someone and a zoom link will be sent to them next week
Warm regards
Paul Sampson
