What a great day working with the LSU Integrative Community Studies Program! Inspired by famous street artists Keith Haring, Banksy Art, and New Orlean’s own, Brandan Bmike Odums, students explored how graffiti and street art can be used as a way to express one’s self identity and beliefs. Street art is also often influenced by things the artist loves the most, as well allows for contribution and commentary to the overall voice of a community, Thanks again to Willie Louviere for letting us “work” with your wonderful students! This was so much fun!
