🫧 AAPA is proud to host a Restorative Justice Workshop with Phoeun You this Thursday, November 17th! We will be introducing the concept of restorative justice as a tool for repairing harm and building community.
🫧 The event will be held over Zoom, and is open to the community to join. RSVP at tinyurl.com/aapaRJWorkshop for further information.
🫧 Phoeun You is a Cambodian genocide survivor and refugee. Phoeun served 25 years in the CA prison system where he transformed his life and the lives of others as a mentor and restorative justice facilitator. Despite being granted early release, Phoeun was cruelly deported by ICE to Cambodia in August 2022. We are honored that he will join us from Cambodia to offer us insights on healing and transformation despite being so unjustly taken from his community this year.
