The Whimsy Market

Calling All Bay Area Witches! It's almost Halloween, so that means it's time to dress up and join us for our Vintage Witch Market in Berkeley on Sunday, October 20th. This year, we'll be giving away prizes for the following three adult costume categories: Sexy Witch, Vintage Witch, and Movie Witch. Start planning your outfit while our artisans begin crafting their magickal goodies! Admission is FREE!

We'll have over 40 witchy vendors selling antiques, crystals, vintage clothing, pottery, jewelry, bath and body products, candles, spell-kits, altar supplies, divination tools, dried herbs, brooms, and so much more!

Set aside some time for henna, tarot readings, astrology, reiki, and even a mini sound healing session.

Grab a cold brew and pizza at before heading to the costume contests at 1:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. We'll have cash prizes AND baskets filled with goodies from the artisans. Get an extra treat if you dress up your fur baby. Dogs must be on leashes.

This is an indoor and outdoor market. We ask that you help us keep Gilman Brewing clean by clearing off your tables and disposing of any garbage in the trash cans.

We will not be checking tickets at the door, but we would like everyone to get a ticket so we know how many people to expect. This helps the brewery and the vendors plan ahead.

Saw Where You Are will be joining us in just a couple of days. Rebecca from Sonoma County will have her handcrafted jewelry at from 12-5 p.m. Grab a beer and do some shopping with us.

We'd like to welcome glass artist, Cool Hand Suuze, to The Whimsy Market this weekend! She'll be making the drive down from Mendocino County with all her glass products in tow. Come marvel at the beautiful colors and intricate designs of her lamps, chimney incense burners, tear drop bottles, ornaments, pendants, figurines, and wine glasses. She also makes award-winning pipes and bubblers that she might show you if you ask nicely.

Come hang out with friends and family in the beer garden. Fill up on beer and food before or after you shop. See everyone this Saturday between 12 and 5 p.m. at Shady Oak Barrel House .

Vida and Spirit from Sonoma County will be joining us this Saturday. Rebecka's handmade jewelry may be the next stunning statement pieces you wear. We guarantee you'll be getting lots of compliments!

Big Top Sweet Shop is making an appearance in Sonoma County this weekend! Eva hand paints small batch bonbons using only the best in sustainable chocolate. If you've ever been to The Whimsy Market, you've probably seen Cactus Rose. Shaunta is a florist who uses her dried flora to handwrap beautiful palo santo herbal wands and a variety of smudge sticks. This Saturday, you can find her outside in the beer garden with her decorative pentagram wreaths, abundance kits, mystery smudge boxes, and other gift boxes. Make sure to stop and smell the roses (literally) when you come this weekend!

Besoms, or Witches Brooms, are known for spiritually sweeping away negative energies. It is also believed that placing a small besom under your pillow will bring pleasant dreams and protect you in your sleep. This Saturday, August 24th, you can purchase one of the famous Raven's Cottage Brooms in person at Shady Oak Barrel House. Get a chance to meet Dori and take your pick from a variety of unique besoms.

The fun starts at 12 p.m. and goes until 5 p.m. Grab a cold brew before you begin your witchy shopping. has a huge beer garden, so bring friends and come hang out. Vendors will be inside and in the beer garden.
