“Bridge bridge!”
Meet your PDs: Zev Schwab
Since the conclusion of CKT 2023, Zev has had one thing on his mind, assembling the perfect Gesher staff. With only a jug of fuzzy milk and the top secret Gesher backpacking recipes, Zev set out on a mission to search far and wide for the greatest counselors in existence. He refined his rock climbing skills to search the highest peaks, recruited a school record holding swimmer to search the oceans, performed the G is for Gesher to audiences across the world, and pursued a mechanical engineering degree to design his very own backpacking gear. Zev went all out to assemble a Gesher staff that can only be described as world altering.
With Zev at the helm, Gesher looks to reach new heights and smash all previous Ruach records, a perfect send off for the Gesher class of 2024 to embark on their journey across the bridge to be the greatest counselors yet!
This is the greatest PD team of all time! We’ll see you all for session 1!
“The Pioneers”
Meet Your PDs: Miriam Lerner
Glow in the dark capture the flag…
River rafting…
Mind-bending scavenger hunts…
All of these and more are what captured Miriam’s heart when she was a young Chalutzimer. After Miriam returned to CKT for an amazing first summer on staff in Chal, she knew that Chalutzim was the only home for her. She is THRILLED for what will undeniably be the best, most ruach-filled summer of everyone’s lives.
During the rest of the year that isn’t spent on the Chal steps, she spends her time studying Engineering Physics at Tulane University in New Orleans and daydreaming about Sunset Beach overnights, fake economies, and epic bake sales. Miriam could not be more excited to make new friends and memories, and she is confident that this summer will be one for the record books.
We got Gesher coming at you next week!
“Map side!!!”
Meet your PDs: Shayna Silberzweig
After bouncing around from Habonim to Gesher, Shayna is ready to settle down into her new home, MAPILIM!!! As a retired Mapilim actress, professional all camp song session dancer, self-proclaimed Sasha Price background singer, and a D1 Mississippi player, Shayna cannot wait to take on the talents that will emerge in Mapilim.
Following her many sleepless nights dreaming of waking up in the Map Lot, Shayna is eager to take her possible computer science? human rights? Jewish studies? education all the way from Columbia University in New York City to Berkeley, California to find an equitable, Jewish algorithm that will create the greatest Map Show OF. ALL. TIME. Not only that, but she will be accompanied by quite literally the ! One day you will remember back to reading this message for the first time and will think back to how empty your life was before this summer in Mapilim existed… but for now get SOO HYPED
Stay tuned for Chalutzim next week!
“G . I . B . O . R . I . M . Giborim!”
Meet your PDs: Berch Lake
Throughout the entire school year at the University of Washington, Berch has only thought about one thing: Giborim. Even as he watched his Huskies beat the Oregon Ducks (twice), he could only celebrate briefly before his mind traveled back to his favorite program in all of Kee Tov. Berch started his Kee Tov journey in Giborim all the way back in 2013, so naturally it makes sense that he would return, as a program director, to the place where it all started. Overnights at wildcat, action packed chugims, the best ruach in all of camp; Giborim truly has it all, and Berch cannot wait to take the helm and make sure this summer is the best camp has seen yet!
Hang tight Mapilim we’ll see you next week!

Meet your PDs: Nitzan Gladstone
𝑯aving grown up at Kee Tov, the idea of
𝒂 summer away was out of the question.
𝑩etween the ruach, friends, song sessions,
𝒐vernights, and all the things that make camp a
𝒏ever ending fountain of joy, Nitzan could not
𝒊magine a better place to be.
𝑴aking memories for campers, counselors and
𝒇amilies to keep and cherish are just
𝒐ne of the many goals he has this year as he
𝒓eturns to the program he began his now
𝒆ight-year Kee Tov career. This program is the
𝒗ery best of programs and he’ll be joined by an
𝒆lite group of counselors who will help him in
𝒓aising the Ruach to record highs.
He can’t wait to see his old campers and meet the
smiling new faces that will be joining us for the very first time. We’ll see you on the Hab chip.
Check back next week for Giborim!
The moment you’ve all been waiting for…. It’s PD drop time!!!
Meet your PDs: Elise discovered her love for Rishonim at the wee age of 5 years old. And ever since her very first day at Camp Kee Tov, her love for the camp has never ended. Many years later, she cannot wait to spend her summer days running around the social hall and having so much fun…just like she used to!
When Elise is not at camp, she spends the school year studying Political Science and hanging out with horses at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. But during the school year, all she dreams about is CKT, pouring the fuzziest milk from unimaginable heights, singing until her voice is gone with Sasha, and most of all, having epic mind-blowing dance parties! Elise is beyond excited for this summer and is looking forward to sharing her passion for the best program and CKT!
Check back next week for the Habonim drop!
