whew!! I needed that!!! Yes, I do get to travel quite often, but it is mostly for work! J and I had the best time taking a quick jaunt down to New Orleans. Two nights at the did us so good! We ate all the yummy food and relaxed and enjoyed the city. I feel rejuvenated and ready to get back to work tomorrow . For people who work really hard, it truly is vital to have things on the calendar to look forward too - the reward makes it all worth it!

Kristen came to me 8 weeks ago with that brassy uneven hair color that’s just sort of indescribable. She allowed me the opportunity to cast a vision, and get to work! It took 2 appointments to achieve these results. In both appointments, we addressed every hair on her head and made adjustments getting it to a more flattering , fashion forward shade!

Color correction is a tedious process and can take a little time to achieve desired results. It can also be an investment of money, but nothing in life comes easy 😉 When I tell you how good you feel when your hair is on point, it’s totally worth it!!

is the definition of lifelong friend! We first met at Strong River when we were in the same cabin at probably 8 or 9 years old, we went on to be penpals after that - writing each other from letters between Laurel and Hattiesburg; occasionally running into each other at Ole Miss games
When I moved to Hattiesburg before 9th grade, Kelly became one of my real life in person best friends!
Over the years we always stay in touch and she has been to LA to visit me more than a few times! This weekend I got to go with Kelly to the (which I can’t believe I’ve never been!!)
So much gratitude for this friendship! Kelly and her family are the absolute best!!!

I have had so much fun making this house feel like a home! Jason has lived here for 20 years Swipe right to see the before photo! ☠️

We had been looking to move and buy a house together but with the market being the way it is, we decided to put a little elbow grease into our home. Beyond grateful that he allowed me to just go for it! I honestly made these improvements on a shoestring. My friend helped with paint colors, was the person I sent all of my ideas and mood boards to for validation and approval and it’s come together beautifully!! I did this without purchasing new furniture - worked with what Jason and I had and accessorized with a few statement pieces. I am still in search of perfect chairs but I’m absolutely not mad at how this all pulled together 🎀

I’m still splitting my time between Mississippi and Los Angeles ✈️
I love getting to connect with so many new and old faces in the south and living close to family! It also always feeds my soul to get to LA, stay with my bestie and work out of (I have sold my of my ownership at the Beverly Hille salon, but it’s always a great week getting to work there!) After spending nearly two decades of my own life living in LA, I love maintaining my relationships both professionally and personally out in Cali! 🌴
I really feel happy, genuine happiness. Jason and I have merged our lives and love living in Madison with our four dogs and cat. We laugh all of the time and every day truly feels like a gift.
Connectedness is something I still value above all, and oddly enough taking sometime away from IG has made me feel even more grounded and connected.
While I might not be spending as much time on this app, I check in and love hearing from y’all!!!! Big love to you and I hope you all are having an awesome summer! ☀️
